HAHA. I might have to eventually borrow those two phrases from you two. "pink abomination" and "heinous cocktail of death". SG, you're not allowed to be gone for a few days, young man! By the way, mayhaps that was the evil Panda queen.

Wow, Still Guessing, I never would have thought of that. Hard to believe that someone could be that devious to do that on purpose. (I'm sure people here are thinking, "Can she really be that naive?") I suspect Shelayne isn't really that naive, Leeza. [tongue in cheek ... ...] Don't be too hard on yourself. Innocence and trust are really cool traits. Cherish them. Consider Titus 1:15 that says "Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure." So I'm in some danger from even conceiving thoughts like that. We're told by Jesus in Mark 10:16 to be as wise as serpents and as harmless as doves, so it was at best unwise of me to blurt that thought out. Characteristically I was trying to be funny. I'm grateful God doesn't judge us on the relative quality. recognition, and effectiveness of our attempts at humor. That pink abomination was probably a sincere attempt to please a customer...(! ? !!)

I'll be more careful in the future. Please don't beat me. We have a delightful EPD, Shiloh. Maybe we really should consider harboring an EPQ toward the other end of the spectrum.

Just for clairification, when I said, "Can she really be that naive?" I was talking about myself, not Shelayne. (I'm sure you know that, but I am concerned that others (including Shelayne) might have thought I meant her, and of course I didn't!
But thank you for what you said to me. Not good to be too naive, though. Remember what Jesus said about being innocent as doves and wise as serpents?

Well, Leeza, I knew that. Shelayne appears to be a pretty bright crayon in the box. I wasn't worried. It was simply another maybe risky attempt at subtle humor.
By the way, Leeza, did you ever wonder how to really tell how wise any given serpent is? I'll take Jesus's testimony, and they must be wise, but I can't honestly say I really understand the standard that I should strive to attain. Hopefully sometime really really soon we can ask Him about it directly... It might not be the first thing I'd ask about, but it at least qualifies as an interesting topic.

You're right, Shelayne is pretty sharp. It's just a shame she had that horrific experience.
Hummmm....come to think of it, that's a good question about how to tell about how wise a serpent is. I figured what it meant was to be aware of the evil in people's hearts, like how Jesus knew the lawyer who was questioning Him was trying to trap Him.

Don't worry about this ole crayon I got it the first time. BTW, if I am a crayon, can I be a turquoise/aqua shade? That would be lovely, thanks. wait... Turqua? That doesn't sound very appealing or bright. That sounds like someone who would gleefully partake in the consuming of a pink abomination called "The Panda" and pay for it All. Day. Long. .... OK, never mind. Turqua it is.

Don't you think this puppy is probably thinking about Aunt Shiloh? Morningstar, that Panda you're shipping to Shelayne should probably include a shot of insulin.

Oh my goodness, LOL, you guys are soooo funny! I totally believed you got the recipe for The Panda, Morningstar, until I saw the shoe lace included, hahahahahahahaha! Yep, Still Guessing, a shot of insulin would be nice. Shiloh, that dog looks like he just devoured a pot brownie.

Haha! Shelayne, I believe that dog's name must be Denver! I read the article that went with that photo one time and the lady who owns that dog has a birthday party for it every year. It MUST have had a laced brownie prior to the photo...because how else could she get it to sit like that and smile at the camera? Darn it! I have all those ingredients except for an extra shoelace...Dan, we even have insulin here in case my husband wants some of tha delicious sounding dessert.

Shelaye, did you ever eat your birthday cake? I actually have not yet had my birthday cake. I need to get on that ASAP. This is a cake infraction, and it cannot stand. I need to either bake one myself, and it has been just too hot to do that, OR I need to get out and buy a ready-made cake, and those are hit or miss... decisions, decisions....

WHAAAAA? No birthday cake yet?
Do you have a Heinen's grocery store where you live? My son hated cake. Still does and I had to make him pumpkin pie in July every year for his birthday.

Definitely! I just made some really awesome brownies the other night that are dark chocolate with semi-sweet chocolate chips and chopped walnuts in them. Then, I frosted the whole pan of them with real smooth, soft, dark chocolate icing (non-gritty). A large glass of ice cold milk on the side is a must!
Shelayne, don't go using big words on me.
