The New City isn't heaven. The thousand year reign, and the pearly gates are the New City. It is a day of rest (1,000 years) following the 6 days of work (~6k years to Adam's lineage, or 'man').
You worship self, or you worship God. You can't have two masters.
The right hand indicates your work, the forehead indicates what you spend your thought on, desire etc. The mark of the beast is intrinsic, as it is man's number. So we all have it, if it isn't covered over by Jesus's sacrifice, then you are in trouble.
Frankly the term christian is borderline offensive. Follower of the way is more accurate. The people who through it around most certainly are.
God doesn't need:
Your 'work'
Your 'worship'
Your 'prayer'
Your 'Thanks'
If you don't want to say thanks at a meal, don't. If you feel like you have to pray to get into heaven, don't. Prayers can be offensive (the text indicates a stinking thing). These things aren't currency. These things were given us to help us keep our countenance correct before God. They are to trip up self, and refresh us. They buy you nothing.
Do not judge people who do not partake. That is offensive.
Babylon will be destroyed as will 2/3 of life on the Earth. So many bodies they will be like dung on the ground; there won't be enough manpower, or time to bury them. Hence the feast of the birds...
Zechariah 13:9
"I will bring the one–third through the fire, Will refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them. I will say, ‘This is My people’; And each one will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’”
God doesn't test you in the normal sense. Those in Heaven see through time, like we see through space. Specific numbers surrounding events weave something like a beautiful tapestry, they aren't power. An allegory for the 'test' mentioned above, would be acid, which would destroy impurities. In other words pure before redeemed.
Isaiah 13:12
"I will make a mortal more rare than fine gold, A man more than the golden wedge of Ophir."
Please understand that to struggle against this is to struggle against God. The old garbage has to be washed away to make way for something pure, and wholesome.
Be loving (Philia, Agape), not arrogant.
Revelation 16:18
"And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the earth."
Such a great Earthquake that the mountains, and islands were no longer there. What are Islands but underwater mountains? No work of man will survive.
The sleeping people whom you mock have watchmen who stand over them. You will note that the saints standing before the throne as numbered in revelation is over a hundred million, wheres the saints who come from the tribulation are without count. Perhaps billions.
The suffering is needed to correct them, because they didn't listen. God will not abandon them. Rather he will pursue that one lost sheep, and he will chastise his sons.
It isn't 'heavenly father'. It is 'my father who IS IN heaven'
'Bless me father for I have sinned' is offensive. Why would God bless you for sin?
'Illuminated Mysteries'? Who was the light bearer again?
Note that Luke 16:8 isn't listed an offense, but rather an observation. God's people trusting God, and not taking appropriate precautions for themselves is far less offensive than arrogance, or cruelty. Neither of which will be allowed in the New City, let alone heaven, as they're poisonous.
Abraham's faith was counted as righteousness. Not his work. His faith. Paul, a servant of God was intended to carry God's name as a vessel of wrath. The time of the accusation was the point in his life where the wrath was to be complete. His appeal to Caesar caused his death to correct those who observed his behavior. It would have been the high priest on trial, if Paul had gone before him, as the Roman Soldiers would have caught him trying to kill Paul.
15 But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel. 16 For I will show him how many things he must suffer for My name’s sake.”
The wrath was to be completed to showcase God's mercy, and forgiveness. This is born out by the fact that he was at the Governor's residence for years, and didn't need to work. He was being cared for. He had to suffer to show the young church that they were protected, from even the high priest.
Unfortunately a great many people believe that they must have work, and that those who don't work shouldn't eat. Whereas Jesus said:
24 Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds? 25 And which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? 26 If you then are not able to do the least, why are you anxious for the rest? 27 Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 28 If then God so clothes the grass, which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith?
29 “And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. 30 For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things. 31 But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things[c] shall be added to you.
32 “Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. 33 Sell what you have and give alms; provide yourselves money bags which do not grow old, a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches nor moth destroys. 34 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
You could be correct, living on an island, alone, affecting no one, and still dwell in the New City. Hence everyone's wages being the same.
Matthew 10:42
"And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward.”
Mark 9:41
"For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink in My name, because you belong to Christ, assuredly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward."
Psalm 2 (NKJV)
The Messiah’s Triumph and Kingdom
2 Why do the nations rage,
And the people plot a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves,
And the rulers take counsel together,
Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,
3 “Let us break Their bonds in pieces
And cast away Their cords from us.”
4 He who sits in the heavens shall laugh;
The Lord shall hold them in derision.
5 Then He shall speak to them in His wrath,
And distress them in His deep displeasure:
6 “Yet I have set My King
On My holy hill of Zion.”
7 “I will declare the decree:
The Lord has said to Me,
‘You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You.
8 Ask of Me, and I will give You
The nations for Your inheritance,
And the ends of the earth for Your possession.
9 You shall break
them with a rod of iron;
You shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel.’”
10 Now therefore, be wise, O kings;
Be instructed, you judges of the earth.
11 Serve the Lord with fear,
And rejoice with trembling.
12 Kiss the Son, lest [c] He be angry,
And you perish in the way,
When His wrath is kindled but a little.
Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.
