I have noticed that others haven't posted their testimonies....ahem, Benjamin, Morningstar, Dan, BroJohn, Shelayne, Lily (but she hasn't had a lot of time lately), Rieom and other members and Guest. You all know who you are.

Yeah, I noticed that too, Shiloh. I am anxious to see how the others here came to the Lord! I love reading testimonies.

Yeah same here, I noticed that many haven't shared theirs. Our testimony is a way of sharing how the Lord came and changed our lives. It is also to show people that Christians are far from perfect, we all came from less than perfect pasts, homes, and lives. We were no better than anyone else and if someone thinks for a minute that Christians can't possibly understand what they are going through, they will see how very wrong they are. Many of us have a whole lot worse things that we've been through or done ourselves. Never be too quick to judge people, you never how truly flawed and broken that person you think who is so together and has it all really is a person who was anything but until God came and changed their life. Our testimonies let others know not only are they like us but also lets them know that God will do the same for them. They aren't too far gone, too bad, or too broken. They're anything but hopeless!
So yes, testimonies are who we are and who we were, and I pray more will be added to share and encourage all that read them.

I agree with that, gr8tful. It's always fascinating to me how the Lord has worked through others lives and how they initially knew they were born again after Christ called them unto Himself. I had an innate, child-like innocence when I was young. However, I was much older when I had that intimacy and relationship with the Lord. It was so in depth. Those who haven't been there are most likely not to understand. But that's okay. Their experience (or lack thereof) are just different.

Still looking forward to your testimonies, Morningstar and Benjamin, and whoever else wants to jump in. I love to hear how others have come to the Lord. Each story is different, and so special.
