I have to trust in His timing, though it can be very hard, but I agree I do hope and pray we will soon and very soon be going to see the king!

Rockets were fired from Damascus at Israel today. Do you think Israel will retaliate? Exciting times we live in. I used to jokingly say in high school, maybe the rapture will happen and I won't have to do this homework etc, but I developed a deep longing for the Lord to come get me around 2004 and It feels like I have been waiting a long time and I don't like to get too hopeful because it hurts so much when I have to wait another year but The Lord's timing is perfect. I feel like Christmas eve where you don't want to go to bed when I get excited and then find out no it's new years so you have to wait til next christmas kind of thing. But God tarries because he doesn't wish any to perish. So I keep praying how can I help speed things up Praying for the Lost, trying to love everyone and be a help. but we humans are an impatient lot and I think God understands. |

Wendy, I know how you feel. I've been waiting for 38 years for the Rapture, so many times I thought it would happen but it didn't. Looking back, I now thank the Lord He didn't return at that time because if He had, half of my family would not have been raptured, but because of His delay that half have all received His Salvation and some are already with the Lord. What were all witnessing now all around us, and especially in Israel does tell me that our time is very very short, day and hour only God knows, but I believe we are being quickened in our spirit that the Rapture is indeed near. It's hard not to get impatient because of all the evil surrounding us, and it's getting so much worse each day, but I have to keep reminding myself that there are thousands especially in the Middle East that are coming to the Lord in droves each day. We don't know when the number of the Gentiles be fulfilled (Romans 11:25) only God knows, and when it is, we'll all be snatched up in a "Twinkling of an Eye".
