Can someone remind me what is special about these elections and what we are hoping for? What is the significance of each candidate?

Israel is our timepiece in Prophecy. The elections are important because it matters who will be leading the nation and in which direction he'll lead it. God is the one who's in control and He's the one who puts kings in power and also displaces them.
Many of us believe that God put Netanyahu and also Trump (the most pro-Israel president) in office for His Prophetic reasons. Being that were at the end of the Church age these elections are very important. It could mean that the next PM and also the Next President (in 2020 if there'll even be one) could just be what'll bring in the Tribulation. We don't know for sure, this is speculation on our part, but it's exciting to watch because we don't know what the Lord will do next.
