Dozens of rockets fired on Israel. I am reading reports elsewhere of 50-70 rockets fired with property damage reported but no injuries reported. [mod edit: removed broken link - use the one below]

There are so many articles now out there but it seems no one agrees on how many rockets were fired. I have heard anywhere from 30-70. Are we seeing escalation, payback or both?

Good catch rieom. Here's another article as well. In this article it says the militants expect the "ceasefire agreement [with Israel] will continue," which is unbelieveable. Gaza militants fire rocket barrage at southern IsraelPalestinian militants in the Gaza Strip have fired more than 30 rockets at southern Israel, Israeli officials say. An Israeli military spokesman said eight hit urban civilian areas and that a number of others were intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defence system. It was the heaviest barrage since the November 2012 conflict in Gaza ended. The military wing of Islamic Jihad said it had fired the rockets in retaliation for Tuesday's killing of three of its militants in an Israeli air strike. Continue reading BBC article by clicking here

rieom, I couldn't access your link for some reason..is anyone else having this problem..it could just be me... Has anyone noticed that every time these terrorist start to shell Israel (it's heavily populated)that there is minimal damage, no casualties (so far) and the rockets fall into open areas? I've noticed this in the past, and sometimes there have been rockets fired into a populated area, but for some reason they were duds. (God's restraining hand?) Coming up in April 15th will be passover....(1st blood moon) could be significant coincidence...will have to wait and see....Possible Psalm 83/Isaiah 17 war?...all speculation of course.

Israeli Air Force Strikes Gaza After Missile Onslaught Israel targeting both Islamic Jihad and Hamas targets; no casualties reported yet. The Israeli Air Force struck terror targets belonging to Islamic Jihad and Hamas in Gaza on Wednesday evening as retaliation for firing a barrage of over 60 rockets on Jewish communities in southern Israel. No casualties have been reported yet. IDF tanks fired at terror targets from the border earlier Wednesday, after Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon warned Hamas and the Islamic Jihad that the barrage would not go unnoticed. Of the three targets eliminated, two were in southern Gaza and one was in the North. "We will not ignore the barrage of rocket fire tonight," Ya'alon stated. "We will not allow Islamic Jihad or any other entity in the Gaza Strip to disrupt the lives of Israeli citizens." Ya'alon continued: "when there is no quiet in the south, we will not allow Gaza to have quiet either - to make Islamic Jihad terrorists regret their rocket fire." Morningstar: Your right, my link did not work for me either. My computer skills are basic.
But, what I really remark on is your statement about there never being any damage from missles fired into Israel. I have noticed that too and wondered if we were perhaps not being told the truth. I had never thought about it as God protecting Israel. That is very possible. I always think that the protection comes when either Gog and Magog war or the surrounding nations unite to fight against Israel. This makes more sense to me also. I am glad you posted this.
