Days of Heaviness
Oppression is not failure. Enduring through oppression or heaviness is victory over the enemy. That is his ploy against many: to stay near and press a lie until the person breaks, in fear, believing it.
Many are going through this in these difficult days of coronavirus, and many will come through the days of heaviness in victory. Some will falter and experience it again, and learn to fight.
The "armies" of Israel were with Joshua. The people were "armies," but they didn't want to fight when they needed to.
I pray that God's people now will fight, will say, 'we can learn to fight.' Yeshua leads us. We will trust Him and gird ourselves for battle.
Psalm 27:13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.

So true, there is so much heaviness and oppression surrounding us, and it's coming from the spiritual realm I believe. Good post Mary, thanks for sharing.

Thank you, Morningstar. You are always encouraging.
I do agree, the oppression is coming from the spiritual realm. Several times a day I lift my arms and praise the Lord, and with that comes a good feeling, a sense of being uplifted.
My mention of the "armies" of God turned out to be from Exodus 12, and at a point where I had never though of the Israelites as armies. I could not find it for a while.
Exodus 12:17
And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever.
May the Lord bless and encourage all who read this through this time, as we wait for His coming.
