This could lead into the regional war we are watching out for.
With enough backing from the Arab world, PA official claims, Palestinian Arabs 'don't need' negotiations with Israel.
The Palestinian Authority (PA) announced that they would continue to fight against the "Israeli occupation" this week, turning to the Arab League for help establishing a "sovereign and independent state under 1967 borders."
Jibril Rajoub, a member of Fatah's Central Committee, said this week in Doha in a lecture on "State of the Palestinian struggle" that the negotiations did not lead to any outcome for the Palestinian Arabs due to "Israeli intransigence
and that the Arab League's support is desperately needed to solve the "Palestinian problem."
Rajoub proposed that the PA aim to be recognized internationally by "regional powers" (i.e. the Arab League), and to use such recognition to build up a large army and a popular front to end the "racist and fascist Occupation."
Rajoub also related to ongoing negotiations between the PA and Hamas.
"We are willing to restructure the PLO on the basis of a program of political struggle, which is based on the initiatives of Arab countries, in order to open the possibility for all Palestinians to be represented in the PLO," he said.

The Arab League has consistently backed Palestinian Arabs' "struggle against the Occupation," despite their controversial status within the Arab world.
Earlier this year, the League categorically rejected recognition of Israel as a Jewish state and has also endorsed the Hamas-Fatah unity pact.
