A Christian who refused to make a wedding cake for a gay couple has been ordered by a Colorado court to go to sensitivity training to change his beliefs. I suggest the couple go to sensitivity training instead.

I think now more than ever before we need to make sure and put on our spiritual armor daily and never forget our sword.

Big Brother wants us to become so sensitive to how gay criticism irreparably harms these victim's fragile feelings that finally we'll just shut the #@^% up and gratefully comply. Ideally we'd simply embrace the lifestyle ourselves, and at last with the enlightened ones, finally be free and actualized.
I wonder whether the baker will finally need to declare his heartfelt devotion to Big Brother in order to graduate from sensitivity training. Short of a heartfelt declaration of his conversion and allegiance, that poor baker might never get a passing grade and be able to graduate.
Don't you just love the freedom Big Brother has finally birthed for us? How about a wistful alliterate societal mantra: "...for the protection. preservation, and promotion of public, private, permissive and passionate penchants of people?" Now wouldn't that just make you feel warm and sensitive and harmonious inside?

Peaceinthestorm: I have felt the same way lately. I know for me it takes each day reading my Bible and spending time with God.
StillGuessing: Your post made me laugh. The world is certainly upside down.

Thanks, Rieom. My bride of 46+ years would caution you not to encourage me by saying things like what I said made you laugh. But I thank you nonetheless.
Good morning, by the way. Good to see you up so soon. Feeling well, I hope...

I goes beyond sensitivity training. This committee also is requiring this baker to keep a log of every transaction he declines and the exact reason why. Then some "monitor" will check in with his business and read through his books on a periodic (once a month?) basis. It gets even "better". The committee originally demanded that he keep track of every customers sexual identity as well. It wasn't until the attorney for the baker reminded them that was not legal, did they back off of that requirement. What has this country come to?? What is even scarier is that this committee which comprises people of various backgrounds sees absolutely nothing sinister about any of this. **shudder**
Seriously, cattle cars cannot be far behind.
