What do you think will happen with this latest mockery of God in Rome today? Out of the three religions, Catholic is the only one who believes in Jesus. I confess to knowing not much about the Islamic faith except for many it incites hatred of everyone but themselves . For the Jewish people, they believe in the Old Testament only and therefore, they do not recognize Jesus who died for their sins. However, bringing these three and allowing Islamic prayer has to have a cause and effect outcome. Nothing good will come of this and I cannot help but wonder how God will show his disapproval. We have had the lightening strike the basilica, we had the birds incident and now this is so huge, I cannot imagine what is coming.

I wouldn't even want to hazard a guess.

Okay, it's not scriptural, but the Malachy prophecy about the final Pope goes: "In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church there will reign Peter the Roman, who will feed his flock amid many tribulations, after which the seven-hilled city will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people. The End."

LOL..Unemployed Sean Connery Impersonator, I was just thinking about that "prophecy" last night. So far, Malachy has been dead on. Won't the FP be around to promote the AC? We must be VERY close to catapulting off this earth.

Paving the way for a one world religion? I wonder if anyone still believes that the "Pope" is infallible. I mean... even this is proof enough against it.

I'm with you on that SG....This Pope is definitely fitting the FP discription, he sure is putting the pieces together in the Prophetic Puzzle.

Whether he's the FP or not, Morningstar, I'm not sure, nor can I speculate with unimpeachable opinion about it. What if the FP were an alien? A reconstituted ancient god? Some(thing) unworldly... I'll go to "UNCLE" quickly if someone twists my arm behind me about any of these. Besides, I have no dogs in the fight. I suppose Malachy would have had to appear kinda nice about a pope, regardless of what evil role he may have foreseen.
If Malachy is right, I think it means Francis won't be with us in the Rapture.

In my travels around the web each day, I have heard many echo the sentiment that the Pope could be the FP.

In response to Rieom's original speculation, I heard they planted an olive tree in symbolism of peace between the two peoples.
Watch it not grow now. I think I could actually see that happening. Although I think it would go unreported around the world.
