Reading Shiloh's post under news and articles, it made me wonder how long after the FP comes out of the closet does the AC appear? We all sense the rapture is very close and sometimes I think it is closer than we think.

Does he even arrive before the AC? Revelation 13 makes me think he comes sometime afterward. But maybe I'm forgetting something else.

Not sure of the time element, but I believe he just won't appear overnight, and Satan is a copycat after all and will try to have his own Unholy Trinity... Just like John the Baptist paved the way for the coming Messiah, I believe the FP will also pave the way for the coming AC..Which I believe is happening right now. So we have to be much closer to the Rapture than ever before.

I had always thought the AC came and picked his FP after but admit I am not strong on this point in Biblical history.

That could still hold true, but in the meantime that individual could be setting the groundwork until he is recognized for who he really is. Does this individual think he's the FP..I don't think so but he is headed in that direction...as you read about his unorthodox actions in the daily news.

Definitely worth keeping an eye on.

Good question. I have believed (and still do) that the FP arrives before the AC is on the scene. He will promote the AC but will go about it in a more 'religious' way...uniting all faiths, but...there is also a political factor behind it all. I don't know how anybody else thinks here on this but don't you think it's rather odd that so many people (even atheists and others) are so in love with this pope? I never thought we'd be here to see such a great candidate for the FP.
