This was an actual police chase that happened in California. Someone added rather appropriate music to it:

Liz, that made my night! I laughed so hard. That was a woman, too, wasn't it? She did pretty darn good there for awhile but obviously, she was under the influence of something. That looks like something you'd see in an old black and white comedy movie.

It made me think of the Keystone Cops. I am sure these officers are going to take a lot of ribbing on this one. I noticed it was a girl too Shiloh. Other than breaking the law, she did good driving.

LOL, I saw that one a long while ago. Forgot about it... What a mess of a chase, though.
But hey, that Benny Hill song is my "theme song" for awkward moments I experience. Like hitting a desk with my legs causing noise while trying to get out of its chair, or trouble getting out of a car for no reason, or tripping over stone pavements, or losing my balance for a brief moment, etc. I'm sure one could make a video of those things with this song in the background if they had them all filmed. I also remember this one time in the city when I was peacefully making my way home from classes and some random people in a car passed by with a water gun and, well... I think you know what happened next. And after that I just stood there shocked for a second. I'm sure there are more things, I just don't remember them right now.

John, SURELY we must be related! I just walked right into this huge garbage bin we have on wheels while staring into another direction the other day and talking. I'm waiting for a black and blue mark to show up somewhere. My husband got a good laugh out of it.

LOL. I just put the Benny Hill music on and reread your post about you walking into a garbage bin, Shiloh. I can only imagine it but sounds hilarious.
I've seen them use this song in programs where they went around pranking people and getting their reactions on film, and then (I presume with their permission) made an evening program of it on TV. I think they must have used it on some clown show too, because this song always reminds me of clowns.

That's right, Leeza. Also, now that Elizabeth reminded me of this Benny Hill song, I have to read all of Shiloh's posts with it playing in the background. That's the only way they'll make sense to me. LOL. I'm joking.

Oh my goodness, you two are a riot!! I just love the way you tease each other...so cute. I always wanted a brother to do that with, just to share some good natured ribbing. Love it!!

Don't push it Leeza. We'll start on you next! LOL. Hey, I have to look up those pills for you yet. These are generic too. They are called 'Omeprazole SA' but I don't know what they're supposed to be like as far as well known drug names. I'll post it on the other thread, "Leeza Update" that Liz started, okay?

Lol, Shiloh, I love being teased! Especially when a person kids me about mistakes I make, I find it hysterical! Wow, that generic name sounds familiar. I'll have to check to see if I already have that one. You won't believe the pills that Hospice gave me! Thanks, Shiloh.

Margaret teases me all the time over my typos. I never pay attention when I'm typing and don't bother to check to see if I hit the right keys. As a result, some of my sentences sound really looney.

some of my sentences sound really looney That's my cue. Hahaha. I'm actually laughing over here. Don't feel bad, though, your typos are not that bad... usually.

LOL! Boy, I walked right into THAT one, didn't I?!!! I noticed you just couldn't resist adding "usually" at the end of your statement.

LOL you guys are a riot! That Benny Hill music is the topper. (I almost wrote Benny Hinn....talk about typos!!) I catch myself doing that once in a while. It makes me think about the time when I told Texas Sue over at RITAN that I liked Marilyn McGoo, and she said, "Don't you mean Marilyn McCoo? I think you got her mixed up with Mr. Magoo." I laughed so hard that I couldn't breathe! I went to bed that night still laughing.

Leeza, that's funny. Don't get me reminiscing about Mr. Magoo though, I used to love that show as a kid.

You guys remember Mr. Magoo. UHH, Mr. Magoo aired in 1960-1961. That was how long ago?

Way before our time, right? Lisa, that is so funny. I did the same thing about the Benny Hinn but I actually caught that one on time. That's okay. Great minds think alike!

EPD, I guess every childhood generation has it's favorite cartoon and educational shows. I was only 5 in 1960, but I remember Mr. Magoo quite well.
