8 Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. 9 And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, 10 And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.”Who are going to reign as kings and priests during the millenium? Is everyone going to reign, or only those believers who have earned crowns? And where are they/we going to reign? Any Bible scholars or Bereans out there who can answer these questions?

The 24 elders are the church/bride of Christ. Yes, I believe that includes ruling and reigning with Christ as kings and priests during the Millennium too. It sounds as though we will be able to be on earth as will as in the New Jerusalem but the New Jerusalem is a dwelling for the the church only.

Thanks for your answer, Shiloh. Yes, I understand now that the 24 elders represents the church because they were redeemed from the earth. I was taught at one time that the 24 elders represented the 12 tribes of Israel, and the 12 apostles, combining both the church and Israel. But since Revelation 5:9 says "...and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation..." that tells me it is the raptured church. Especially since the Bible talks about them in Revelation 5 after Revelation 4:1 says to the church to "Come up hither", meaning the rapture.
I would love to know where and in what capacity we would be reigning with Christ as kings and priests. Would we sit on thrones like a king or queen? Where on earth would we be reigning? Would we be in Israel? Would we be like judges in a courtroom, since the Bible says that we are going to judge the world and angels in 1 Corinthians 6:2-3?
So many questions.
Edit to add: I just realized that maybe this thread should have gone under the Bible Q & A section. If it was, can you move it over there, Benjamin? Thanks.

Well, I don't think it'll be anything like this - Since we are imputed Christ's righteousness and will be like Him, I think it will be more of an administering, maybe intercession and righteously judging.

LOL! Yes, I agree with you. I certainly can't picture myself insulting people and making them feel like idiots like Judge Judy!
