Oh wow leeza, that is awesome!! I love the way the Lord knows every little thing about us and chooses to do things in a way that we KNOW it is from Him! The fact you had a friend there to witness this left no room for doubt that it did indeed happen! Oh thank you Lord for knowing our hearts and bringing comfort to us Your children in our fears, worries and concern. For You to show us Your great love for us, Lord it is amazing! Open our eyes Lord to see You in every facet of our lives! Thank You Lord for being such a loving Father and showing us You are involved and working in our lives, in even the secret things that no one else knows about but You! In the Name of Jesus we Praise You Amen! Thank you so much Leeza for sharing this! It is humbling isn't it, when He shows us how close to us He is and how even the little things, the goofy things, the simple things are important to Him when it comes to us! WOW!

Thank you, Gr8tful! Yes, the part that touched my heart was that the Lord remembered the EXACT day, and sent an angel to ease my mind that everything was going to be all right. The deliverance of that fear was huge to me. I'm so glad that my friend was there, also, otherwise I wouldn't have known there was an angel there; because like I said, I just saw a bright light in the corner of my eye, but didn't see anything when I turned around.

Again Leeza thank you so much for sharing this with us!! It got me to thinking, does anyone else on here have a unique experience like this, whether an angel, or some other way the Lord intervened, showed up or revealed Himself? I would love to hear about it and i'm sure so would everyone else!

Oh oh. If any of you read my testimony, you have read about how my father had a nervous breakdown when I was five years old, and how he was placed into a mental hospital. That had a profound effect on me, especially when I saw my mother fall apart afterwards and coped with life without any love or support from family or friends by drinking to excess. She suffered with fear and anxiety, and I grew up in a very unstable atmosphere. I would get frightened when I would see her drunk. I was a quiet, sad, shy, insecure child, seeing the world as a fearful place as she did, and reacted accordingly. Then when I was 12 years old, we moved next door to my lifelong friend, who introduced me to the Lord. I learned about His death and resurrection, and asked Him into my heart when I was 18 years old. But I noticed after that, I had a irrational fear of reaching the age of 33 1/2 years old. I was taught in church that Jesus died at the age of 33 1/2 years old, and my father had a nervous breakdown at the same age. So since I identified so closely with my father and Jesus and loved them so much, I was convinced in my mind that at the age of 33 1/2, I was either going to die or have a nervous breakdown. I was obsessed with this fear, and I was afraid to reach that age. One night I had a Christian friend over at my house and we were having a prayer meeting. She was sitting on the couch, and I was in the recliner with my back away from my kitchen. It was in the evening, and the only light on in the apartment was the lamp in the living room. All of a sudden, my kitchen lit up, like someone walked in and turned on the light. It startled me, and I turned around, but by then the light was gone, and the kitchen was dark again. I turned back around to look at my friend to see if she saw anything, and she looked like she saw a ghost. I asked her, "What's wrong? What did you see?" She looked shaken, and she said, "I saw an angel coming towards us, then he disappeared all of a sudden!" I was quite floored by that, and I wondered what it meant and what message that Lord was trying to give me. He doesn't send angels for no reason, so I knew it had to be a sign of some sort. After she left, I started praying to the Lord, asking Him why He had sent the angel. I felt Him asking me, "What is the date today?" Puzzled, I looked at the calendar, and I said, "May 15th." Then He asked, "How old are you today?" I counted up the months from my birthday on November 15th. I was exactly 33 1/2 years old.
I remember when I turned 33 years old, I thought, "This is it." I tried to put that fear out of my mind. I didn't realize when I woke up that morning that I was exactly 33 1/2 years old. But the Lord remembered. He delivered me that day of the fear that I had carried on my shoulders all those years. Never again did I have any fear of dying or having a breakdown. The Lord set me free.

Thanks for reposting that, Leeza. I was going, "Wait. What did I miss? I don't see a testimony here."

Jerome, aka "NOT ASHAMED", please follow the rules like the rest of us. I think you have nothing better to do? WE don't want to read all the rhetoric you post from the Catholic dogma. Also, if you insist on doing this, which I consider harassment, please post the link/s you are copying and pasting or find a Catholic website to join. Benjamin already layed out the rules more than once and you keep ingnoring them. From now on, none of us will read or respond to your posts. If you want to discuss something or are searching for the truth of the Gospel and have any real input besides copying and pasting, that's different. That's all I have to say.
