If ISIS kills this pope (as they claim they're going to), the Secretary of State to the Vatican takes over for him...and the secretary of state's name is Peter... and he is from Rome... I guess this is a wait and see thing, but interesting, nonetheless. Anyone have any speculations on this?

That is interesting and something a good conspiracy theorist might have fun with! You never know do you? You can't help but wonder how did the Jews NOT know/see that Jesus was the Messiah they were waiting for?! All the 'clues' and obvious signs were right there in front of them! It wasn't like it was some mystery, some code that had to be broken, piecing together signs plus red moon plus the number 7 and 3 knocks, all together equals He's coming back on the 4th of July becuz that's Independence Day! (I'm just kidding btw! Pls don't take that seriously!) My point is, wouldn't it be something IF it occurred just as Shiloh is posing, something that could be so obvious and right in front of us that it actually was the case! Now that would be weird!

hahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...I'm really laughing at the 4th of July thing, Isn't that the truth? I'm not a conspiracy theorist but I do believe there are and have been true conspiracies via the enemy's realm (meaning Satan and his demons).
I can't tell you how many times I've thought about that. I wonder, if we were living in that time, would we have recognized Him? I don't know. Therefore, Israel was blinded in part because they rejected him, yet not all. Nicodemus quoted scripture from Isaiah 53 and realized Jesus was the true Messiah. Were other people steeped in tradition? Did they expect an 'earthly' wealthy king like king David? Just my thinking, but I think they did expect someone like him. Our Lord greatly humbled Himself and came to us as a simple man that we should be able to understand.
I love the way He taught in parables. HE had to because we're too stupid to understand...lololol..bahhh....bahhhhhh

Shiloh, if I remember correctly, don't they replace the pope with one of the cardinals? Or am I thinking about the priest in the Thornbirds? Funny stuff, Gr8tful! I just love that picture of the lamb, Shiloh. I could just squish him, he's so cute!

I know Leeza, isn't that little lamb precious!!! I cannot wait 'til when we're 'home' in Heaven enjoying all the beautiful animals! Seriously, the thought of being able to walk up to them, pet them and not worry about getting mauled or eaten, is so awesome!!! Can you imagine how incredible that is going to be!?! Just standing next to an elephant, petting a lion, holding a koala, snuggling with a bear, not to mention the beautiful majestic horses!
I believe all things will be so much more vibrant, alive, joyful, incredible, colorful, lovely and every wonderful description that our minds just can't even begin to comprehend! Not to mention the sounds!!! Can you imagine the sound of God's voice, flowing water, birds singing as well as angels and us singing? I would think even a birds flapping wings would sound like an awesome melody.
I don't know, I have been 'pondering' on Heaven lately, since was it Jasperdale that mentioned the book called Heaven? It's something that's made me think what it must be like. As well as Dan's wife Linda who made it home and to just imagine what her experiences are right now, all that she is seeing, feeling, hearing....WOW, WOW, WOW!!! She has been blessed beyond measure by running her race well and making it to the finish line!!! The rewards she is enjoying are more than I can even fathom!
Sometimes it's just nice to stop and think upon Heavenly things, ya know?! The world is so ugly, dark, depressing, evil and fading away; that one needs to just step back and see all the good that is still here, tho just harder to see anymore! Along with that, to stop and just think upon what our goal is, to be with our Lord, our Savior, our Father for all eternity and what that may be like. It refreshes my soul and lightens my load when I do that.

Oh, for sure! I think about heaven all the time, and how beautiful it will be. That's what keeps me going.

and just think, you guys. All the animals will be tame. Won't that be awesome?
hahahaha...yes, they do. I watched the Thornbirds about 12 times. I loved that series. Believe it or not, I have it on dvd now and my hubby downloaded it for me....but haven't watched it yet again. I remember reading the book before the mini series came out and I threw the book at the wall after I was done reading it because I was so mad. I thought they did a good job on the mini series though. My hubby actually watched it with me.

Oh, you too? I just LOVED the Thorn Birds. I also saw it more times than I can count. I cried my eyes out at the end. Also at the part where they finally got together, (if you know what I mean), knowing that it could possibly be the last time that they would ever see each other again.
I have the book. I started reading it AFTER I saw the mini-series. I liked the movie way better! (What part of the book made you mad?)
