Excellent as always. Thank you for posting this, Liz. My sis was telling me that even some preachers who were pre-trib are now changing their views. I believe Paul taught pre-trib. If it's in the Bible, then it is true. More and more are falling away from the truth and yes, people are getting confused. We have the Word of God to reassure us though. I wonder if JD has the flu or something? We have to pray for him.

Yeah, I noticed that too, Shiloh. It looked like he was weak and hanging onto the podium throughout his sermon. He does need prayer. Plus he didn't have much volume in his voice. I thought there was something wrong with the volume control on my computer. But he sure is a trooper. Great prophesy update as usual.

Very stirring sermon...and he's exactly right...the Pre-Trib View seems to be the only view that is being attacked, I rejoice when I hear this, because that view has to be the Truth why else would Satan attack it if not to steal a Christians Crown of Righteousness for those who love His appearing.
Correct me if I misunderstood JD...is he saying that the Pre-Trib view is also a Salvation Issue?..In other words, if you do not believe in the Pre-Trib view that a person is not saved? He referred to Matthew 24:45-51 (The Faithful Servant and the Evil Servant), and Matthew 25:1-13 (The Parable of the Wise and Foolish Virgins). If so, I don't agree with him on this if this is what he meant..again maybe I misunderstood him...

Morningstar, my understanding of what he said was that "pre-trib was not a salvation matter, it was a sanctification matter". Those of us who believe in pre-trib are going to be concerned about preaching the gospel to our friends and loved ones because the time is short. So he was saying that it was a salvation issue in the sense that there have been many people saved because we have shared with them Bible prophesy. As he said, many people are wondering what is going on in the world, and when we explain to them prophesy and point to what is happening today, people come to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and they become saved because they can see the urgency in the hour in which we are living. So what I got out of that if that it is not a salvation issue for us, but it is for them.
Check out what he says about this around the 13 minute mark.

I'd agree with that. I think it was more of a play on words than anything else, really - he was saying:
Pre-Trib views are a 'salvation issue', in that... many have come to Christ having been convinced by Bible prophecy, or being awakened by Him through their eyes being opened by what is happening all around us. He wasn't saying that it was a salvation issue, in the sense of "post-tribbers are going to hell!". That wasn't his point.

I'm not sure about the parable about The Ten Virgins as referring to the church. I have read many bible teachers and bible prophecy teachers say that that has nothing to do with the Church but does have to do with the Second Coming and not the Rapture. If one isn't sealed with the Holy Spirit, then that would mean they never really asked Jesus into their heart to begin with. We were promised that the Holy Spirit would indwell us upon asking Jesus into our heart as our Lord and Savior. But, I believe in OSAS. The Parable Of The Ten Virgins (by Jack Kelley) (he explains it the easiest) gracethrufaith.com/topical-studies/parables/the-parable-of-the-ten-virgins/

You guys are right, he is sick. In the very first part of his prayer at the very beginning he prays that his sickness not be a distraction. So he must have something, a bug or flu? Hopefully nothing more than that.

Yeah, I just prayed for him this morning. We can't have him get sick on us!! We need his updates. I really think he's a person of integrity and I admire him a lot.
Shiloh, I totally agree. The ten virgins is not the church. I think that Jack Kelley was right in his assessment. (Love Jack Kelly).

Ok, Ben & Leeza, I see what your saying, and I did misunderstand him, I went back and listened again. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
Shiloh, I've heard that interpretation also, like I mentioned before they both have good sound points to make, so I can't say dogmatically which one is right or wrong, so I'll let the Holy Spirit guide me on this one.

I'm coming at from the aspect that the church hadn't even been born yet and that Jesus' audience were the Jews.
