I think I see your point. Now is no time to just hide and wait to be raptured. There is a lost world. We should put on our spiritual armor daily.

While we wait and watch, as we were commanded to do. Yet, we hope for our Lord's appearing. Yes, there IS a good fight to be fought while we remain and the Lord will use us, as the willing vessels we are, however He chooses. But no one can deter me from longing to be with my Savior.

Well, we all have a tendency to derail threads, Guest. Even our own.

well speak up, your "Polishness"

Post by shiloh on May 4, 2015 0:29:45 GMT
Well, that was quite a dig and I'm not even Polish. Were you referring to me or someone else? Trouble is, we don't know who the different Guests are. Gr8tful had a good idea of suggesting maybe someone can log in as Guest 1, then a Guest 2 for someone else and so on. Now, I'm not quite sure how it went from cows to the Rapture, either. But maybe the cows will think they'll go in the Rapture.......

Not Polish, as in Poland... Polish as in Tarnish.....

I know. I just tend to have a sarcastic sense of humour. It was just a play on words, but I knew what you meant.

On another note, let's be kind to one another. As I recall, those are one of the rules that Benjamin posted in regards to this site.

Cows in the Rapture is a.MOOOOOOT point, I have a suggestion, why don't the Guest just use their names, or maybe you just want to be ingonito in fear of recognition? Either way, you don't have to use your real name, this way we know who is saying what and can respond accordingly...just my thoughts.

Hahaha...Hey, I was looking for a flying cow going up to the sky but couldn't find one. Guest, I was referring to it as being a play on words in the sense that you capitalized Polishness instead of writing polish. It makes perfect sense.

Good one Benjamin!!! To those who are guests on here, if you are here to genuinely share, fellowship and add your input please sign in as Guest 1, 2, 3 or whatever next # is on here. Or use a name or something that lets us know you from the other guests. It helps quite a bit when we're trying to comment or ask a question from you! You don't need to use your real name by any means! Once you feel comfortable here it would be nice if you joined.
Shiloh, here you go!

hahahaha...I love that picture, gr8tful! I knew one of you guys would work in Cows and the Rapture, somehow.....even if it's not real "butta". Ya know, that margarine (I Can't Believe it's Not Butter) contains plastic? No lie. That's why it doesn't melt out in the sun. So, use real butter instead.

hmmm, well, I do not draw a similarity between Johnathan Cahn and a grilled cheese turned into an idol.
Personally, I think very highly of Cahn's teachings and apparently so do a number of those in congress and USA politics who are taking his warnings seriously. Has anyone watched or read his teaching on the HARBINGERS? It is very good.
You see, God hasn't changed and He still speaks today the same way He spoke in the bible, and a lot of what God does is often considered "weird" to those who are wise in their own eyes.
It is not wise to poke fun at God's prophets and spokes-people, it shows a lack of understanding of His ways and leans to "Greek thinking". Don't be a Greek-thinker.
I am a Christian interpreter of dreams and there are many a wise-in-their-own-eyes Christians who, much like the religious people in Jesus day, are fast to say that the only dreams God speaks to us through are dreams that show asteroids and wars, etc.. They claim 'silly' dreams about animals etc are not from God... and yet they forget that God gave a pagan country leader a dream about 3 skinny ugly cows swallowing 3 fat cows. That doesn't sound like a very wise dream even today. God speaks to us individually using the symbols around us in our personal lives. Oh people of God, do not be like the foolish virgins who were slumbering and missed their own fiance's return. ALL of the virgins symbolize the bride of Christ --- but the foolish ones are left behind because they were not awake and paying attention to the important messages of God which seemed foolish to them because in their man made wisdom, they missed it and Jesus left them behind..
For it is written:
“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise,
And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.” 20 Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. 22 For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom; 23 but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness, 24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
26 For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. 27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; 28 and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, 29 that no flesh should glory in His presence. - 1 Cor 1:19-29 nasb
What you are calling foolish and "out there" is actually God's wisdom.... it only looks foolish to those who do not have eyes to see and ears to hear what the Lord is saying through things that look 'foolish' to those whom are wise in their own eyes.
And the disciples came and said to Him, "Why do You speak to them in parables?" Jesus answered them, "To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been granted. For to the one who has, more will be given, and he will have an abundance, but from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. Therefore I speak to them in parables; because while seeing they do not see, and while hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. In their case the prophecy of Isaiah is being fulfilled, which says, 'YOU WILL KEEP ON HEARING, BUT WILL NOT UNDERSTAND; YOU WILL KEEP ON SEEING, BUT WILL NOT PERCEIVE; For this people’s heart has grown dull, and with their ears they can barely hear, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them - Matt 13:10-15 nasb
Be blessed and seek Him with your whole heart while He may be found.

HI Masterpiece! (I like your name!) I agree with re: Johnathon Cahn, and yes I read the book as well watched the dvds on the Harbinger's. I actually gave the dvd to my friend, who's a pastor's wife and she ended up showing it to a few groups as well as others at other churches. I believe since God never changes He does and can use people to basically be 'watchmen' and 'blow the trumpet' to warn. He did through out scripture. Since we all have the Holy Spirit we should have an even greater amount who are doing that.
I would also say with sooo many Christians from all over as well as non-Christians 'feeling' that something's about to happen, all feeling that sense of 'this is the end' and such can't be a coincidence! Very true re: what is being called foolish and out there is actually God's wisdom!

I agree with Gr8tful....I also have read "The Harbinger" and I like Jonathan Cahn. Of course your always going to get different opinions on this and some Christian teachers have gone to the extreme to discredit the man to the point of causing some division in the Christian community, be that as it may, it isn't going to change my opinion of J.Cahn in fact it does just the opposite.
