I thought this was interesting. There were 2 cows that were born days of each other with the number 7 on their heads. Rabbi Cahn connected the dots between that and the dreams of Pharaoh in the days of Joseph.
What do you guys think?

I don't put much stock in things like this, honestly. If we want to draw the allusion between ancient Israel and the US, we don't need Jesus' face to appear in a taco or a tree, and we don't need cows with odd markings. The writing is already on the wall, figuratively speaking - and things like this tend to detract from, rather than add to the credibility of the message.

I'm not touching this one with a ten foot pole! One of my sisters is a real follower of Jonathan Cahn. Her and I have many disagreements about his teachings. I mean, to the point where she wouldn't even talk to me.

I personally like Jonathon Cahn. I think he has a very unique perspective on things. Whether I agree w/everything, no I don't, but I don't agree whole heartily w/anyone, except for the Word of God. No one has it all put together! The Bible has way too may depths to it to gain all the understanding by one person.
Shiloh, sounds like your sister takes it all way too seriously huh?! Tho I remember being dogmatic back in the day! The Lord has sure changed me since those days! Of course we are to take the Word seriously but in a loving way. It's too bad she gets to where she doesn't talk to you!

Yeah, gr8tful. That's exactly it. I like him too, but I don't take everything he says as gospel truth, as with any other teachers. "Let us ride this out and search the sciptures", is my thinking. "We shall see", kind of thing. Leeza, I was cracking up at that too. Mayhaps they can be sold on Ebay? I think people would be surprised what people would pay for a taco shell with Jesus or Mary on it..lololololol Isn't that idolatry? It's idolizing a taco shell! Give me a break!

That's just...wrong...that is so wrong. hahahahaha....and what about those weeping Mary statues? Most of them were debunked finding leaky, rusty pipes that they were hooked up to. Remember that thing about people seeing Mary on some car dealership window and people were flocking from all over the place to pray to her?

Yeah those Jesus sightings and Mary sightings are sure a good publicity stunt for the devil isn't it! I don't know if you've thought about this, but I have. I wonder if I had a pan or griddle made w/the image of Christ or Mary on them that would 'brand' the tortilla or waffle, pancake, cheese sand, toast, etc so that you would have that image on your food ea and every time. WOnder if that would be what I call my 'million dollar' idea!? Oh ps, if anyone goes and takes this idea and markets it, this post will be my proof that my idea was stolen!

Shiloh, that image was so funny! Wow, if someone was into that sort of thing, that would mesmerize them, would't it? Gr8tful, you better get that idea of yours patented right now, otherwise some unscrupulous hack will steal it! Hahahaha!

I think that would depend on if they were smokin' something, Leeza. I would just look at that as a burnt part of the tortilla. Hey gr8tful, I saw something on one of those infomercials a long time ago that had that idea to an extent. These were smiley faces, butterflies and some other patterns though for kids to have on their toast or pancakes. You better patent that one you have as an idea right quick. haha. Then, you can go the show ' Shark Tank' and see if you can get one of them to give you money and agree to let them have a certain percentage of the company and let them market it for you.

I say this with all respect to the man...Is he Jonathan (Con) or Cahn......

Post by Gr8tful on May 3, 2015 16:31:53 GMT
Fair question. I believe it's Cahn. I don't believe he intends to deceive anyone. BUT as a jewish man who is now born again, he understands scripture in a way that a lot don't. He has a deeper understanding of the Jewish religion, as in what Jesus would've been raised to learn. So he understand, knows, in my opinion the deeper meaning of how some things have been fulfilled thru Christ. Little things we don't.
Growing up Jewish and becoming a Christian the depth of scripture would be awesome! I try to learn some things becuz of that. For instance, when learning about Christ death, HIs blood shed for me, that death has no hold. It becomes even more deeper when you learn it was Passover, and what Passover meant! Anyway, again that is my opinion.

The analogy makes no sense at all.......Just buy my book, because you need to be more ready than just trusting in Jesus. You need to have your face plastered to the window, looking for me and ignoring the life I have given you,in order to be raptured.

Guest, never said he was a prophet. I believe he is a teacher other than that don't know. I believe he is a man, like Billy Graham is just a man. Love Billy Graham but I don't cling to every word he says as if it was 100% God truth. He's a man trying his best to spread the gospel. He's not perfect no one but Christ is. SO to assume there's anyone other than Christ is, is wrong.
Just appreciate the gifts the Lord gives to ea of us, knowing we are doing our best but not perfect. Of course there are those who are just striving to rake in the dough from vulnerable people. WE are each given discernment. We determine how to follow and listen to that discernment. We are all in different stages of growth. THings I woulda thought were RIGHT ON now are not so much. AS I grow and mature I see things deeper.
RE: Jim Baker, I don't watch him so can't comment. Just not my 'cup of tea' I guess.

My point is 'RAPTURE WORSHIP' is idolatry....for some it is the rapture or the lottery, whichever comes first.. If that is not you, then disregard.

I have not met anyone who worshiped the rapture.
I do look forward to it.
2 Timothy 4:8 in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.

Yeah i agree Peace i haven't either. Tho some can be pretty dogmatic about it, but that's typical re; almost anything. Someone is always a bit tooo staunch! BUT, from what i gather by Guests comment re: either the lottery or the rapture i believe they are referring to the people who will take one or the other, what ever comes first to make their life better. If they won the lottery, then they have no more problems, if Jesus comes back they have no more problems. SO if the lottery comes first off they'd go and forget they were even looking/anticipating His return. To where they wouldn't want Him to come back at the point becuz they now love their life so much w/all the money brought. SO I get that point. I just don't count those kind of people as sincerely seeking His return becuz of their great love for Him. Know what i mean?

Wait. Just how DOES one worship the Rapture, anyway? If you mean by worshiping the Rapture as in, we so look forward to our blessed hope and being with Jesus, then yes, I guess I do because that's what it means for me. Being with our King. Who wouldn't look forward to that? Until that moment arrives, we long to be with Him.

OH, now I get it. Lottery or rapture = solve my problems. I bet if they win the lottery first they will find that they just traded for a different set of problems.

Well said, Shiloh. It's about relationship, not idols. We worship Jesus. He is our Lord and Savior.

Yeah Peace, i really believe you trade in with new problems. Money may make your life easier and more fun, on the other hand it doesn't fulfill you, it doesn't cure you, tho you may be able to afford good care, you are still going to be gone some day. It doesn't give you a true relationship w/anyone. You can have everything in the world but when eternity comes, will it have been worth it? That's what matters, at least to me.
