So, it's ANZAC day here in Australia. ANZAC day is a public holiday, set aside to remember those who gave their lives and their service in the 'Great Wars' to keep our country free. At 11:11am every ANZAC day, the nation observes a minute of silence, in memory and in honour of the fallen.
The older I get, the more this day means to me, and the more I think... we'll never see that kind of response to evil again. I'm not under any false impressions here - the response to Hitler, in particular, was slow, poorly handled and pragmatic, at best (nobody stepped in to stop him until they absolutely had to), but with similar events unfolding in Europe, even today, it seems somehow more meaningful. Soon, One will come who will put an end to all wars with a flaming sword from his mouth.
Until then... we remember.

It's like our Memorial Day here in the U.S.A, Love the thought of honoring our Soldiers, I like the fact that you all have a "Moment of Silence", how moving that is. and your right Benjamin, it seems that Globally more and more nations are turning a blind eye towards evil. Oh, that we can hurry up and move towards Our Saviors reign in the Kingdom. It's like having to go to the dentist and having a painful tooth pulled, you just want to get it done as quickly as possible no matter the pain, and get it over with.

That was a good analogy, Morningstar.
