He seemed a little eccentric. But he made good points in what he said.
But I think atheists want "under God" removed precisely because they don't believe. That's what I presume they mean by "offended." They want their beliefs "respected." An atheist saying a pledge of allegiance that includes "under God" would be lying, since they don't believe. The problem is this world, that's trying to sweep God "under the carpet" and silence Christians.

Atheists will tell anyone they do not believe in God. My question is why should you care if we pledge the flag under God? To me, they feel threatened by God or evil is running them.

I agree, John. Rieom, you took the words right out of my mouth. Why would they even care? Why would it bother them? If I was a true atheist (as some call themselves), I wouldn't even care who worshiped who or what. So, that tells me, the atheists are not truly atheistic. For them to be angry and insist on such things, tells me there is deep down belief. Do you know what I mean? "Atheists are irrational". Reeeeeeeaaaaalllly? I would never have guessed. That is just too funny.... Excuse me.....I'm having a light snack of oatmeal cookies.....so I have to stop laughing.

BJ: It would be so much easier if they did not stand for the pledge of allegiance and sat in their seats. It could be just that easy.
Shiloh: That is a good point Shiloh. Perhaps they have a mustard grain of believe and are afraid to acknowledge it.
