This was mentioned on another thread, and I thought I'd pick up on it and make a new topic. There has been a lot of discussion over the past few years around Psalm 83, and the "table of nations" listed there. More often than not, the views expressed are derived from a single point of reference - that person being Bill Salus, author of "Israelestine", among other books. Salus' list of nations is as follows: Now, there are a number of issues with this table, and I'll go into detail on those below, justifying my own conclusions. I wouldn't say that my views on this are mainstream, but I'd like to think that they're Biblically justified. The table I'm about to link is in reference to an article that my mother sent me, which... I can no longer remember the link to - but you don't need to have read that to see where I'm coming from. Hmmmmm. I read an updated study by Jack Kelley about Psalm 83 and to put it in a nutshell, his assessment is pretty much the same as yours as far as who the players are and where they originated from. He also gives scripture and verse throughout his study. Bottom line is that Israel will gain much more land.
