In my travels around the web today, I read a few posts/articles that spoke to me. 1. This is part of a sentence that took my breath away. "Recognize that we have been called before the beginning of the world for such a time as this."
2. Being weary of watching.
3. We are to encourage each other.
I have felt weary of late but not sure if it is watching or just my disease. Let's face it, it can be tough at times with all the senseless killing and deaths we read about. These are caused by weather events, by war, by oppression, by hatred. The anti-Christian and anti-Jewish movement are on steroids and are definitely increasing. Our news prints out right lies that come from politicians that we elected.
The good news is that we have been called to be saints at this time in our history and therefore, His grace is sufficient for us.
So, I wanted to encourage any who get tired sifting through the mounds of end times news each day that we were born for this age and will run the good race.
In closing, I pray to God for his blessings on each and everyone of you and that not a one of you fall away before our Savior comes.

That was a good post, Rieom! Hang in there. We're in this together as the Church, and under the Lord's guidance.

Thank you, Rieom, we appreciate your prayers.
I often think that those of us who feel as if the Lord has set us aside until His return should consider Gideon. He was used for one great work in his life. So the quote you referenced, "Recognize that we have been called before the beginning of the world for such a time as this" could mean, for anyone reading this, that the Lord still has a great work planned for you to accomplish, through Him, before His return.

God Bless you rieom, and thank you for your prayers. I also believe that we are that generation that will witness Our Saviors Return, that He is very close and at the door is no longer a vague feeling, but a certainty of Spirit. I have to stop every once in awhile and think, that out of all the generations that have gone before us for the last 2000 yrs, here we are, a remnant of true believers who will be alive (unless the Lord decides to take us home before the Rapture)to experience His promise of the Rapture. Just like those who were alive at the time of Jesus First Coming, I consider it a unique privilege to be a part of those who will be caught up together in the air to meet Our Lord and Savior. Regardless of what we are seeing around us today the evil that is increasing and getting worse each and every day, God has set us apart to watch and warn those of the coming Tribulation and to prepare. We are living in a unique time of history, and if I could pick any time in history to be alive, it would be now, today. Praying for His soon Return.

Rieom, that was something that really hit home for me and I'm sure all of us. Beautiful post and I lift all my brothers and sisters her up in prayer. As we grow weary while we wait, we see many wounded warriors, but that does remind us to encourage one another.

BJ: We are certainly in this together. Thanks for your encouragement.
LS: I have often wondered if the work that God has for us is at this moment in time. We shall certainly find that out.
MS: Well said. It is humbling to reflect on God giving us such a privilege as being alive at this time in Biblical history.
Lily: Welcome to the group, love your avatar. I am glad my post encouraged you.
Shiloh: I think our secret weapon is holding each other up in prayer and encouragement.
