I don't know where I found this. I've been working on it in my spare time, sometimes waiting for stuff to download. I still have 2 to find. There are 30 books of the bible in here, read the paragraph through, and if you are interested, start looking:
This is a most remarkable puzzle. It was found by a gentleman in an airplane seat pocket, on a flight from Los Angeles to Honolulu, keeping him occupied for hours. He enjoyed it so much; he passed it on to some friends. One friend from Illinois worked on this while fishing from his john boat. Another friend studied it while playing his banjo, Elaine Taylor, a columnist friend, was so intrigued by it she mentioned it in her weekly newspaper column, Another friend judges the job of solving this puzzle so involving, she brews a cup of tea to help her nerves. There will be some names that are really in this paragraph waiting to be found. God Bless. Easy to spot. That’s a fact. Some people however will soon find themselves in a jam, especially since the book names are not necessarily capitalized. Truthfully, from answers we get, we are forced to admit it usually takes a minister or a scholar to see some of them at the worst. Research has shown that something in our genes is responsible for the difficulty we have in seeing the books in this paragraph. During a recent fundraising event, which featured this puzzle, the Alpha Delta Phi lemonade booth set a new record! The local paper, the Chronicle surveyed over 200 patrons who reported that this puzzle was one of the most difficult they had ever seen. As Daniel Humana humbly puts it,” The books are all right here in plain view hidden from sight.” Those able to find all of them hear great lamentations from those who have to be shown. One revelation that may help is that books like Timothy and Samuel may occur without their numbers. Also, keep in mind that Punctuation and spaces in the middle are normal. A chipper attitude will help you compete really well against those who claim to know the answers. Remember, there is no need for a mad exodus, there really are 30 books of the Bible lurking somewhere in this paragraph waiting to be found. God Bless

It is kind of fun. I don't have the key, there's still 2 I can't find. I have all the ones you've listed Shiloh.

In addition to the ones already mentioned, I was able to spot:
Malachi Matthew Amos Mark Hosea Acts Titus Philemon Esther
Bringing the total down to 28 too. If you know what the last two are, let me know. I spent about 20 minutes trying to find them and I didn't see them. Lolol

John, thank you, I didn't have Matthew but I've found it now. I only knew what to look for because of your list. You are missing Peter. That means we're still missing one name. I'm really impressed with how well you guys did, because I've had this thing for a long time, like months.

Lol, I still haven't found "Peter" though. I'll have to look at it to see if I can find it. Having a list makes it a little easier to know what you're looking for. But then again, it would be kind of difficult to include some names like "Habakkuk" and "Thessalonians". So you know the gist of what you're looking for. That "Matthew" one was very cleverly hidden.
EDIT: Just found "Peter". Still no sign of the last one, though.
EDIT2: I found the last one. Lololol, but I won't say what it is just yet. I'll let you ladies see if you can find it. If you can't then I'll say it. But I think you will find it.

LOL. It's not punishment. It's more fun if you try to find it yourselves. I don't want to spoil it.

Lololol, but it's true. After a little while of staring at it you're trying to make words everywhere, that aren't words at all. Forward it! I thought this was a really fun puzzle. Don't look at it for too long, or it gets even more difficult. Try to find one for a few minutes, then do something else for a bit, then try again, and so on.
The last one wasn't "Peter." Lol, that was my second-to-last one. I haven't said what the last one is, just because I don't want to spoil it. Buf if you've found 29 already and you're only missing "Peter", then that means you found the "last one" too. Just don't say what it is so that Elizabeth or others don't see it accidentally.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! LOL, okay. I know what you mean. It's sort of like having to walk away from a big jigsaw puzzle for awhile. I love jigsaw puzzles but those can be frustrating too. Especially the scenery ones. You have to walk away and then go back to it later. Sometimes, it would take us weeks to finish a huge one.

John post it, I will just stay away from the thread. lol Are you sure you want to know Shiloh? It's nice to have something to find, on days when you want something little to do to pass short bits of time. There may be others that want to know too, I don't know.

Here, then, I'll do it this way. The final one is "Luke" in "Honolulu, keeping". You have to highlight the letters here with your mouse to see the answer. If you don't want to see it, don't highlight it.

LOL, yeah. I have the colorized one but I'm too lazy to search my scanner files. They're real disorganized right now. I figured I have to keep up with Jim and do the black and white thing. I sent this to one of my sisters. She emailed me back and she LOVES stuff like this. She said she'd get back to me when she found all of them..it's been 2 days....lol

Don't feel bad, I did it too. It wasn't until I did something else and then came back to the page, happening to glance at that Honolulu spot, that I finally realised it was there.
