Ok, I see there's still about an hour and a half of celebration time left. Let's get it started with Ted Lyon and His Cubs (I hope the poor girl in the gold dress didn't get permanent brain damage from this dance)
Happy Birthday!

I'm laughing so hard at that post, Jim. I bet Margaret was wearing a sign too. I heard they prefer cake over there.

It's rather calming, isn't it? I mean the cheesecake. I wouldn't waste one drop of that on an enemy! I have a recipe for a New York style cheesecake that I just got from my daughter-in-law's mom. The kids tried it out and made me one. It was huge and felt like it weighed a thousand pounds. It has that sour cream topping on it. Of course, I was done eating for the rest of the day after a piece of that each day.

Nana, I don't think we will be. Just think, we can all celebrate in heaven with our Lord. Won't that be fun?

Cheesecake is very good! But it's a little nauseating if you eat more than once slice, or a big slice.
Lol at the pictures here!

Hey everybody!!...thanks Shelayne, mia and Nana for the belated Birthday Wishes...now that I'm trying to forget I even had a birthday and am 1 year older....LOL.
BJ that's right, you can't have a large piece of Strawberry Cheesecake because it does upset your stomach....just found that out..it'll be awhile before I'll have another piece...LOl

GLUTTONS! You have committed the sin of gluttony...hahahahahahahahahaha...been there, done that!
You all have to learn to space these thing out! One slice in the morning and one at early evening after dinner. However, I could eat several pieces in one sitting but then I wouldn't eat for a week.

I was talking more in that it's one of those things in which if you eat even two small slices or one big slice, you get sick of it right away. Or at least that's how it is for me. Because it's too sweet. I had a big slice because there's a bakery near here that sells cheesecake pieces, and those are all medium to big sized slices. I tried to eat one of those in one go once and I got sick of the taste of cheesecake in the end. Lolol. It was too much sweetness for me.
It's not like I ate a whole cake by myself.
I like how Morningstar subtly let us know that she'd just had a slice of cheesecake. Lolol, thanks for the laugh.

hahahahahahaha...now I want cheescake! It shouldn't be too sweet. There's a delicate balance. I've noticed guys aren't real big cheesecake fans. I have a recipe for New York style cheesecake with the sour cream topping. It's real heavy but I eat it plain. I don't pile any kind of fruit on it. It spoils the whole experience.

I don't pile any kind of fruit on it. It spoils the whole experience. LOL. Raisins. The cheesecake from that bakery actually looked like the picture you posted, Shiloh. But it was a bulkier slice and I think that the top was fully covered in red raspberry sauce. I don't know, it was so long ago. Maybe I should go grab a slice to freshen my memory. LOL. I'm kidding.
