WASHINGTON – At the National Day of Prayer event held on Capitol Hill Thursday, Rabbi Jonathan Cahn issued a dire warning to America: The nation “stands in danger of impending judgment, and we all know it.”
“Too much of the church has lost its saltiness to do anything about it,” he declared. “And now the same biblical signs of national judgment that appeared in the last days of ancient Israel are reappearing on American soil.”
At the beginning of his commanding speech, Cahn, author of runaway bestseller, “The Harbinger,”and its movie companion “The Isaiah 9:10 Judgment” from WND films, warned that his address would not be politically correct. He urged the nation to “come before the Lord and seek His face, and His purposes, and His will for this land and to pray for America.”

I think this nation is already under judgement. Johnathan Cahn is mid-trib rapture. I never knew that before. One of my sisters follows his teachings and I think she's leaning along those lines too. I'm sort of split on this Harbinger thing. I read this article awhile back.... A Critique Of The Harbingerby Jack Kelley gracethrufaith.com/end-times-prophecy/a-critique-of-the-harbinger/

I read his book, and what he wrote is the truth about America, even though he has a Mid-trib view, doesn't make his warning's less reliable. There have been critique's about the Book and about Jonathan Cahn himself, some have been mild, and some that have gone to extremes All we have to do is take a look at what is happening to America right now, and the judgments that seem to be falling on the U.S as we speak not to know that there is some truth in what he is saying as to the impending judgments that will come. I may not follow his teachings, but I found nothing wrong in what he stated in his book about America...were living it.
Here's a good article by Dr. David Reagan In Defense of a Prophetic Voice Jonathan Cahn
People love pillow prophets. They hate true prophets. Pillow prophets tell people what they want to hear. They cry, "Peace and safety!" when danger is imminent. True prophets warn of danger and cry for repentance.
When Jeremiah told the people of Judah that it was God's will for them to surrender to the Babylonians and go into captivity, he was demonized as a false prophet and a traitor, and the people tried to kill him.
In like manner, Jonathan Cahn has been the victim of irresponsible and vicious attacks. He has been accused of "parading as a prophet." Others have branded him a "false prophet." These charges are reckless, unwarranted and un-Christ-like.
Jonathan Cahn's message is thoroughly biblical. It is not based on any new revelation from God. Rather, it is based on the biblical principles that govern God's relationship with nations. These are principles that I outlined in detail in my 2003 book entitled America the Beautiful? The United States in Bible Prophecy (revised editions in 2006 and 2009).

I did not read his book but I liked this article of his. This was the first time I read anything from him and I felt it was a good, strong article. We are all serving the same God but just have a different timeline for the rapture.

After reading Jack Kelley's perspective (to steal a phrase from Bill O'Reilly), I think it was fair and balanced. The difference between Jack Kelley's perspective and Dr Reagan's seems to come down to these quotes, the first from Jack Kelley, followed by Dr. Reagan's:
My personal perspective of where we're at as a nation aligns much more closely with Mr. Kelley's than Dr. Reagan's.

Good post, Morningstar. I read Cahn's book and although I don't particularly like his writing style, I believe he's saying things the church needs to hear. I don't know if it's too late for our country but it's certainly not too late for individuals to turn back to the Lord. I've told several people about Cahn's book and hopefully it will make them think about their lives and what's going on around them.

Me too, Jim. We, the church, are beyond being able to continue to pray for "national salvation" and it all comes down to "individual salvation" at this point. If that were the case, that we would be able to pray for national salvation, then this nation would have had a big turn-around already, because I know there were many of us who have been praying for just that for a long time. The warning is not being heard by anyone except for those who have ears to hear. Someone can warn all they want but the only ones who are listening are those who belong to Christ.
