The 150th anniversary of Mark Twain's visit is coming up and so Arutz Sheva have written a piece about Mr. Twain's impression of Israel. Here is an excerpt: In Twain's own inimical words about the Arabs in Israel he describes "its minuscule Arab presence, making use of virtually none of the available land for the people's own meager needs, could hardly be considered a serious counter to the claim of millions of Jews the world over to a State of their own." Any claim by the Arabs that they were living throughout the land of Israel for any length of time before the Jews came back is totally and unequivocally debunked by Mark Twain's writings. In 1867 there were only a handful of Arabs in the Land of Israel. That is the sum total of it. To read the entire article, click here

There would be no interest in the land of the Israelis if they had not literally brought a dust bowl of a country into a thriving and prospering community. I think the powers that be must be aware of the history of the land and who it really belongs to. As always everyone has their own agenda and it all comes down to greed and power.
