Honestly, I don't approve of any preacher's praise for Francis, considering the way he's clearly been doing things. But I do agree with what this guy says in that he doesn't want people to see him as the guy who only bashes certain groups of atheists because of their sins. Take a look at the Westboro Baptists. That went well. Imagine how many people started viewing Christianity differently because of their death wishes on 'sinners'. It's easy on the speaking side, especially if you don't deal with the sin you're accusing someone else of having yourself, and not so easy for those receiving those death wishes. What good would it bring God for people to see us as constant accusers of atheists like that, instead of trying to spread the message of salvation and being an example of our faith to those atheists? Hate sin, but be mindful of the person and remembering we all sin as well. That's all I agree with on this article.

I believe we are to judge the church, or those claiming to be part of the church. The rest of the world, we have no right to judge.
Thus we have every right to judge the Pope, Osteen, and the Westboro Baptist Church. We have no right to judge the gay people, or the people who have had abortions, or who have multiple partners, if they do not claim to be part of a church. We are to bring the gospel to those people, and to be a Christian example through our lives.
