Every time I see something like this, I say to myself,
"isn't it amazing how random chance and generations of mutations can do THIS".
Honestly - if you can't see echoes of the Creator in this, you must have your eyes closed.

That must be a British crow. An american crow would have flown next door picked up a hammer and skip steps 1-7!

LOL, dpr!!!!!!!!!!!!! I laughed so hard when I read that! On a serious..(if I can be serious after that comment) that is utterly fascinating to me how God has equipped animals and they ARE intelligent. I can't help but think of the verses:
"because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened.…" (Romans 1:19-21)

The crow solved the puzzle in a few minutes where I'd still be staring at everything scratching my head. LOL
Seriously, though, I've seen the genius in animals in the wild. Just holding a nest proves the genius of birds. I was at the store just recently and there was a chilly wind blowing. I saw this bird crouched by a curb, not moving, even when people/cars went by. I thought he'd found a windbreak, which he had, but I also realized, the concrete had been warmed by the sun. So not only had the bird found a windbreak, but he'd found a way to keep warm as well. I don't know why that has stuck with me, but it has.
Also, my cat finds spots to hide to jump out at my dog. It's quite funny to watch. So she's aware that the wall or door keeps her from the line-of-sight of my dog.
We also have a lazy-susan-type cupboard in our kitchen that our dog opens with his nose to then climb upon to get up to the food on the counter. Animals have a certain genius! Even spider-webs are a marvel of engineering.

Amazing!!...and so the "Fool says in his heart there is no GOD"..and continue to go with their own theories..
DPR2014...Better yet an American Crow would have picked up the hammer and hit the guy over the head demanding "where's my food? You owe me!!"

It is amazing what this crow can do. And Shiloh and Morningstar, you came up with such good scripture that applies to this.
And, I didn't realize we had such qualified animal behaviorists here on the board. You're pretty funny.

Actually, if the crow was American, he'd already be on food stamps, so he wouldn't have to work OR resort to violence.

Years ago, while I was caring for our mom (and somewhat bored), I decided to throw a half dollar size piece of frozen bread off the balcony, which overlooked a small pond with woods around it. There was a family of crows that I watched hatch and learn to fly from that same balcony; it was those same crows that I'd occasionally feed. Anyway, one crow picked up the frozen bread and immediately went over to the pond and dipped it in the water to soften it up ... like it was a daily routine. It was amazing that he knew exactly what to do as soon as he had that large piece of frozen bread in his mouth (at least I thought it was amazing ... maybe not so much after watching the video you posted, Benjamin

That is amazing! I loved that! I see our Creator all over this, as with all creatures. Every time I look at and love on my kitties I see Him.
