This is a very interesting article about the framework - Elizabeth The Kerry Plan? Don't Worry about It' Netanyahu confidant MK Tzahi Hanegbi declares to Arutz Sheva that there is no need to be concerned about the US 'framework for peace.'

MK Tzahi Hanegbi (Likud), who is close to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, assured readers in an Arutz Sheva interview Monday that the US's framework for peace - which has not been formally unveiled - has been formulated carefully and will not lead to real political upheaval in Israel.
"I assume that, over the next few weeks, the picture will become clearer," Hanegbi stated. "Both sides will discover what this 'hidden animal,' the US framework, entails."
When asked how much the US framework could affect Israel's own internal politics, Hanegbi brushed concerns over a floundering coalition aside.
"According to the statements I am hearing, the framework is not meant to really shake us," he said. "This is a document which does not obligate either side to anything and is not supposed to go up for a vote in a major forum like the government or the Knesset."

Guess we'll just have to wait and see. If Mr. Hanegni is correct and the Prime Minister is comfortable with it, then more than likely the Palestinians won't be happy; should be interesting.

The Palestineans won't be happy with anything, though. If you look into what they've been offered in the past (particularly by Ehud Olmert, who offered them... practically "my kingdom for a horse!"), you'll see that they have rejected offers that were heavily weighted in their favour. Why? Because they aren't interested or invested in the land. Their interest is in the destruction of the Jewish nation. They don't want to live side by side in peace, they want to "push the Jews into the sea" (this phrase was used by the PLO leadership in 1964. Literally.).
The issue here is simple. It's not about, and never has been about, the establishment of a Palestinean State. It's about the destruction of Israel - and if they can't achieve that through an Intifada, they'll attempt it through 'peace'. This is why Abbas went to UNESCO, it's why he continues to push for official recognition of a Palestinean state at the UN, and conversely, it's why he won't sign this agreement... because he doesn't want a marginal state. He wants Israel: all of it.

Now that the Palestinians have this seat at the UN and have more legitimacy in the world, you would think there is more pressure on them to go for the peace deal. Apparently they do not have any qualms about how they appear to the outside world.
I hear what you are saying about the Palestinians being not that invested in the land, Benjamin.

Obviously I've generalised quite a bit in my post. I've no doubt that there are people living in the land that would very much like to stay there - and I'm not suggesting by any means that there aren't Palestineans that would legitimately love to have peace with Israel. I'm sure there are. The Palestineans, though, are victims of their own leadership as much as anything else. It's a vicious cycle that keeps them downtrodden; not because Israel would have them so, but because their leadership NEEDS them to be so for political advantage. It's cruel, and it's unfair... but there it is.

I don't believe that even THEY (the Palestinians) know why they hate Israel so much. The 'Palestiians' are being used as a tool by other surrounding nations to provoke Israel. They, nor do other Muslim nations see how they are being manipulated and used by Satan and his hoardes. I just have this strong feeling that all this is going to bring on the Psalm 83 battle and even factions of the terrorist organizations are maing peace with eachother now. A few months back, I wondered how that could be and what would bring it about. They are all involved in the Psalm 83 battle and united against Israel...the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, Al Queda, Fatah, etc. are all making peace with eachother.
