EU Eyes Confiscation of Personal Savings, Pension Plans
The New American: “As we have warned, governments and central banks all over the world are getting ready to plunder savings accounts and pensions to fund ongoing spending binges and mounting debts.
Reuters news service reported an ominous story on February 12 indicating that authorities in the European Union may soon be resorting to the “Polish option” of nationalizing pension funds to pay for national debt obligations, as well as to fund continued out-of-control government spending.”
Opinion: Last night our editor was incredulous at the ease with which the Google executive spoke about the electronic tattoos and ingestible microchips (in our post titled Rev.13:16-17). Our culture has made tattoos so commonplace that the public will happily accept an individualized tattoo. As far as tracking us, we readily give GPS systems in our cars and phones the ability to do that , so the next level of geo-tracking won’t upset us a bit. But, doesn’t the public know what this means, she asked? This is facilitating and desensitizing us to the dominance that the one world government will have over us.
The scary thing is that most Christians don’t know. Most Christians are blissfully complacent in thinking that anyone who believes in Bible prophecy is a kook.
So here we have the fifth warning that governments and banks are eying our savings and pension plans for their personal use. And yet with all that, if you mention signs of the last days people scoff, just like 2 Peter 2:2-3 said they would.
