You are right elizabeth, Abraham had full faith, once God had made his promise,that indeed God was able to raise Isaac from the dead to fulfill his promise.

dpr, I think Abraham must have been a lovely man. He didn't usually waiver, except perhaps those times he had Sarah say she was his sister, rather than his wife, when they were travelling.
I can hardly wait to meet him. Him and Samuel are two people from the O.T. I would really like to talk to.

Yep, Sarah must have been one more good looking woman to have kings and pharaohs chasing her even into her eighties.... She definitely kept Abraham on his toes !

Elizabeth, I always loved that verse. It was his faith that mattered and thereby declared him righteous before the Lord, even though he lied about Sarah being his sister...lol...I try to picture the look on Sarah's face when he said that...maybe he gave her a 'heads up' on that, though.
