This is really Creepy!!!....The more I read about Pope Francis, he sure is filling the bill for the FP. If we take a close look at all that he doing and working towards, it all smacks of "One World Religion". This man is on fast forward towards that goal. I am getting more convinced as time goes by... my discernment meter is flashing red....But, that is my opinion only which doesn't look like it's going to change at the rate this man is moving globally.
Stand Up For The Truth Pope to Copeland: Catholics and Charismatics must spiritually unite.
We are galloping toward a one-world melding of religions, and the ramifications are staggering. Pope Francis has now sent a video message to Word of Faith father Kenneth Copeland, urging a reconciliation between Catholics and Charismatics.
“The Catholic and Charismatic Renewal is the hope of the Church,” exclaims Anglican Episcopal Bishop Tony Palmer, before a group of cheering followers at the Kenneth Copeland Ministries. Palmer said those words are from the Vatican. Before playing the video message from Pope Francis to Kenneth Copeland, Palmer told the crowd, “When my wife saw that she could be Catholic, and Charismatic, and Evangelical, and Pentecostal, and it was absolutely accepted in the Catholic Church, she said that she would like to reconnect her roots with the Catholic culture. So she did.”
The crowd cheered, as he continued, “Brothers and sisters, Luther’s protest is over. Is yours?”
Even Kenneth Copeland finds this development incredible: Said Copeland, “Heaven is thrilled over this…You know what is so thrilling to me? When we went into the ministry 47 years ago, this was impossible.”
How can this impossibility be? Could the ears of those once aware of the evils of ecumenicism suddenly be sealing shut? What is even more gobsmackingly painful is the reaction from evangelicals, who seem quite thrilled with this unholy alliance.
Here is the longer version of what Copeland and Palmer said. Note that at about 40 minutes in, Copeland and the congregants join in prayer for the “Holy Father,” then watch as Anthony Palmer videotapes a return message to Pope Francis from Kenneth Copeland himself.

I'm not surprised at the Pope, nor at Copeland. I agree with you Morningstar, I think he's looking more and more like the fp.

Me too. What's astonishing is even very reputable bible scholars are saying the same thing. Even ones that never speculate or name names.

seriously......how many "teachers" on the airwaves actually read their Bibles? in context? i am just dumbstruck every time i hear some of these people quote Scripture, and then i go and actually look at what the Bible says, and find that they just plucked that verse out of context just to make some point. right now i am plowing through first and second Chronicles, which can be tedious at times. but what i see, over and over again, is that it is very hard to misread the Scripture. you have to come to the text with some agenda in order to misinterpret 99% of Scripture.
yeah, i know some of the language in Revelation can be confusing, but almost all of the Bible is pretty much straight forward truth. how could any Christian in his or her right mind endorse a pope who proclaims as the vicar of Christ that atheists can inherit the Kingdom of God as long as they have a good heart? truly sad.

I fully understand what you're saying Jasp. May I call you Jasp? Jasp the lion. Ya know what gets my goat? When I hear teachers/preachers use Matthew 24 as though it applies to the church. Jesus' audience was the Jews and the church wasn't even born yet. By the way, I just love your avatar. That looks like such a snuggly lion.

Gag on both accounts, Pope and Cope. Hahah!! But seriously, though. Very telling that the Pope reached out to Copeland and not, say, John MacArthur or Steven Lawson.
Personally, I believe the Reformation is FAR from over, and in fact, should the Lord tarry, I'd be willing to bet there's going to be another schism in Christianity, between the super-charismatics and the more traditional evangelicals. At least between the apostate church and the true believers. We can already see believers (myself included) fleeing from the church system as if they're coming out of Babylon.

Haha, Becka. The Pope can't Cope. Don't sell me that dope. I could write whole rap song from that. You can already see the division beginning between the Charismatics and the traditional Evangelicals. Jasp, Aslan is the coolest. I love the way Jesus was represented through that lion.

"Pope" and "Cope", lol! I agree completely...don't care much for either one. And I do believe that the pope is the false prophet getting ready to usher in the anti-christ. The one-world religion is really speeding up its pace, huh? I think we are very close to getting out of here with all these signs around us.

That was very clever of you, Morningstar. LS, I agree. Remember that commercial for cereal and the kids didn't want to try it?... and the kid that plays his brother goes, "Let's get Mikey! He eats everything!" Same thing here. "Let's get Kenny, he eats everything!" I feel a sadness for his following. My daughter was given a book by her mother-in-law one time by Joyce Meyer. Her mother-in-law has all of her books and my daughter wanted me to read one. It was titled, "The Battlefield of the Mind". I read it and said, "Steph, this is all prosperity gospel!" and showed her why. I thank the Lord she received that message from me and she agreed. At that time, she didn't know what the prosperity gospel was all about. Benny Hinn is creepy too and I felt like it was a mockery of the Holy Spirit when I saw him on a video. He had that drunken spirit and I got sick to my stomach.

I think our first hint about this pope was how he came to office. Popes usually die in office, they do not resign. He is another piece of the puzzle being put in place and will play a role in end-times. We will be gone by the time things evolve to a point where anyone becomes the FP thank God.

I think Benny Hinn's hair is pretty spectacular.
...unfortunately his teaching doesn't follow suit. There's a whole crowd of those guys, there at TBN, that I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole... not only because of their doctrine, but because of their lifestyles. Jesus talked about the Pharisees being the ones who loved to sit in prominent places at tables, who prayed loudly so that everyone could hear, and wore rich robes, and so on...
...could he have described these men any better?

Benjamin, I hear there are Benny Hinn wigs on sale on amazon just in case your interested...LOL
But, yes I do think the Lord did describe them to a "T" in this Verse, talk about being blunt! Jesus did tell it like it is...

Jim, we're definitely on the same page! Benjamin and Morningstar, you both have me laughing so hard. I don't need to do sit-ups tonight. Forget the exercise equiptment! A spectacular hairdo, indeed. We have a wig shop around here. I wonder if they have Benny Hinn wigs in there. Perhaps they should be priced at 90% off. Nahhhhhhh.. I say they should be a give away. Buy one, get a Benny Hinn free sale. That's if you're into the throw back to the early 60s look.
