World leaders seem to be in place but for the head of the EU who will play a big role in prophecy. Her position is up in January but I am wondering if she cold step down beforehand. Sort of doing a Pope move which was unheard of. Events seems to be moving along quickly and that is why I was thinking about this possible aspect. This makes sense to me but it is all speculation. |

At the risk of sounding clueless, may I ask the name of the "Head of the EU". I've just spent the last 15 minutes or so searching and I cannot find it. Thanks, Rieom

There are different heads of the EU, and there is a President of the EU which is Van Rompoy June of this year, what I understand is there is to be an election, the EU is considering giving the Newly elected President full power and authority over the EU heads of state affairs. Whereas currently the EU President does not have full authority in some areas of the EU. They want to consolidate it all under one Person. I don't know if they are actually going to do this, only time will tell. Right now, various politicians throughout Europe are campaigning for the position.

She might be referring to the only female ever elected to a position in the EU, I may be wrong on that though, and can't remember her name either. But, I have to correct the date of the election it's in May, 2014...I had said June...sorry wrong about that.

Somehow, I don't see the president of the EU being the AC. Especially Herman Van Rompuy...He doesn't strike me as being of the same caliber as the AC will be and is far from charimatic and captivating....although, I DO think he resembles the Grinch a little from his picture, doesn't he?. I've seen him on some videos before and caught myself snoring. Since the AC rises from obscurity, he may be from the EU but not necessarily the president of the European Council. But we'll be gone before he even comes on the scene, to even know who he is.

Thank you Morningstar for stepping in with answers. Shiloh: The female head of the EU I was erroneously thinking of was Catherin Ashton who is actually a foreign minister for the EU. I still think that the person who heads this post will have a part in the end-times. It just seems to me that this is a big position to hold. I could be way off but this position has to play into the end-times. I agree someone strong needs to fill the position or step-in soon after and needs to be someone many will trust.

I agree rieom, my thoughts exactly and I do believe it will be a leader from the Revived Roman Empire(EU) i.e. Dan.2:36-45 (Ten toes..Iron mixed with Clay), Rompoy's term is about up, and elections will be held this May for a new President (who may very well be a person coming up from obscurity)..although we will not know who the AC will be, it could be we will be out of here maybe before then...hopefully.

To be it is a normal progression when we look at current leaders in the world. Everyone seems to be working toward the common goal of one world everything and allowing Christians in their domains to be persecuted. I think everything else is a distraction so we keep our eyes on one crisis when the real one is coming.
Even for us watchers, there seems an urgency and a longing to go home like never before.
