I watched this video the other night on YouTube, and thought it was worth sharing. It raises the same concerns I've highlighted before, regarding the Blood Moons, and their relevance (or lack thereof) to major prophetic events. I expect some good discussion after this one!

Thanks for sharing this video, Benjamin. It looks like the brother who researched this really did his homework. I would love to know the dates of the other two tetrads that fell on Jewish Feast Days and do some research for myself if there were not other significant events in Jewish history that matched it up. I do think that he made a good point about the timing of the tetrads being 10 months to a year apart from major events in Jewish history. Like he pointed out, it really didn't line up. Plus the fact that the blood moon tetrads do not have the accompanying earthquake and the darkness of the stars like it is prophesied in Joel 2:10 and in Revelation 6:12-13. If we are still here after 2014, it will be interesting to see if there are any significant events occurring in Israel during these blood moon tetrads. I can't say that I wasn't disappointed when I watched the video, though. I did place a lot of hope on the upcoming tetrads coming in 2014 and 2015 as a sign of our departure. But I would rather base my hope on fact rather than fiction.

Agreed - though I think it's important to note that the significance of THIS series of blood moons on the feast days doesn't require any previous occurrences in order to be valid. It would only require this one time. After all, there is no precedent for "the time of Jacob's trouble" that could possibly hold up by comparison.
I appreciated this video because, like the author, I'd noted previously that the historical events don't actually line up with the tetrads at all (10 months being the shortest of the intervals), and found the conviction of people like Mark Biltz and John Hagee somewhat misplaced. More than that, so many prophecy groups have jumped on board without really doing their homework, and I don't like that either.
All of that aside, there is a LOT going on in the world right now. Tetrads or not, to say that the time of the Lord's return is close would be an understatement. The church could literally harpazo any minute... even as I type. That's a comforting thought.

Good video. I've been tossing that around in my head and as you said, Benjamin, there's enough going on around us without the tetrads. I also read this awhile back: The Coming Blood MoonsCommentary by Jack KelleyI first wrote about the so-called blood moons five years ago. (For reasons I’ll explain below, total lunar eclipses are called blood moons.) At the time a video series on the subject was being heavily marketed as revealing the date of the second coming. By now most people no longer believe that, but the series is still popular and since we’re getting closer to the time of their arrival I’ve been getting questions about the blood moons again. So here’s an update. continue at: gracethrufaith.com/topical-studies/holidays-and-holy-days/the-coming-blood-moons/ Fair Use for Information and Education Purposes.

Very good Video Benjamin, he has some valid points. The Blood Moons may or may not be significant..I'm just going to ride the fence on this one and see what happens.

It's a good video. Shiloh, I've also seen the Kelley article, and that's good too. It's watching Israel anyway, it's not like I can shut the information out of my head. I don't know if it's valid or not.

Well, the point is made on that front too - only one of the four blood moons will even be visible from Israel - and even that one will only be partially seen, if at all. ...the links are pretty tenuous, it seems.
Either way, we have enough going on that these events are just more filler, really. I don't believe they line up with the Biblical, prophetic events, but that doesn't mean that they can't be signs in a general sense.
