I've noticed it also. But there seems to be many strange things surfacing from the ocean along with mysterious things causing the birds and animal life to just die off in large numbers globally. But we know that there is a reason for that and I call it a rehersal for the tribulation. If we know our prophetic scripture it's not too surprising to us.

I agree. That's exactly it. Rehearsal. It just shows how close the church is to going to our real home.

Rehearsal... that's not a bad way of putting it. I'd say a foreshadowing. These things are warning signs of what is coming. We see Fukishima now, and people are horrified when they hear what the impact has been - but Scripture has it much worse. You think radioactive water is bad? Try drinking water that has turned to blood.

Yes, and you know how some believe we are in the Tribulation. I don't understand that. Some are already looking for Revelation 12. I believe Revelation happens in chronological order. If it didn't, how would the Jews know where they were on God's timepiece? Plus, John actually experienced the Rapture and the resurrection of all who fell asleep in Christ or who died and were looking for the coming of the true Messiah. That happens right after the church's are addressed in Revelation 4, as we know. Jesus said that the Tribulation will be the worst time that ever was or will be. As bad as things are getting now, and the signs for the Second Coming are all lined up, shows me how near we are to the Rapture.

When people start looking at the Seals,Trumpets and Bowl judgments and try to apply it to what is happening today, don't have a clear understanding of The Book of Revelation, which brings about confusion. They don't look at these Signs as foreshadows (birth pangs increasing in intensity) and what get's me are that some of these people are Pre-Tribulation, how can they justify this with a Pre-Trib view?
What has taken Christians years of study to understand Prophecy, I believe that during the Tribulation God is going to give the Tribulation Saints a supernatural gift of knowledge & understanding of Scripture as they will have only 7 years before the 2nd Coming, and along with the 144,000 and the Two Witnessess I think they will be pretty knowledgeable of the events transpiring around them. As we are on this side of the tribulation we can only speculate, but they will be living it. Just my thoughts, what do you think?

I have no issue with that at all. I think... certainly the 144,000 and the two witnesses are empowered, but I think in a very real sense the church will be empowered by an understanding born out of circumstance, if nothing else. I'm sure it will be a bit hard to argue over whose eschatological perspective is correct when it's actually HAPPENING.
I tend to agree that Revelation is chronological. Doug Hamp would disagree - he seems to think that there are multiple layers in Revelation - things that are described from multiple angles, or that are occurring concurrently, as opposed to chronologically. His view is interesting, and parts of it are compelling, but I'm not sure I'm sold on it. It seems far too structured and ordered a book to have anything other than a chronological intent in mind, in my opinion.
