Sorry I haven't been around much the past few days. Life's pretty busy at this end. One of my daughters needs heart surgery (nothing too major - it's laproscopic, and it's to close a hole in her heart), and we've been running around like headless chickens to appointments etc. The surgery itself was something we knew was coming, but the hospital called a week and a half ago to say "hey! We have a spot open, can you come before Christmas?". Needless to say, it's made life a bit busy.
To add fuel to that particular fire, Jade (daughter #1) also needed to have a visit to the pediatrician prior to the surgery. At that visit, the pediatrician discovered symptoms (small pigment-free spots on Jade's body) that could be indicative of tubulosclerosis - a genetic disorder that can lead to the formation of lesions on the kidneys, eyes and brain.
Now, with all of that said... everything here is positive and relaxed, and we know the Lord is with us, so there's no stress attached... but if you're wondering why I'm a bit quieter than usual, that's why!
Keep posting though, all of you - and keep inviting other humans! We need more people to have great conversations with!

Oh, my dear Lord! How can you not be stressed? I know I would be. I don't know if this will help but I worked in a hospital and we had young children who had that. All surgeries were successful! Praise God. I will certainly be keeping your other little daughter and all of you in my prayers! Yes, we know the Lord has you all in His hands, but He also does hear us who humbly pray. God Bless you and your family. Please keep us updated.
