Hello brothers and sisters!
I want to share with you an encouraging tidbit. In recent months, I've reacquainted myself with a friend who has moved back where I live. She was known as an intelligent, bubbly, and devoted born-again believer. She was well-educated and involved in various ways in church life. She is still all those things, but she suffered a stroke seven years ago.She told me that, while at home, she felt nauseous, then was bent in two, unable to move anything but her mouth and eyes. The ambulance came and the paramedics lifted her in her bent position. She had had a brain aneurysm. In the hospital, she went in a coma. She said she lifted from the bed and could see herself lying there, surrounded by weeping family members. She went on to say that Jesus was right there beside her. They were laughing together. She held his hand. He told her that she could come with Him or go back. She decided to go back. He told her that she would have seven years of famine during which He was going to "deal" with her husband. She was to keep her mouth close, and let Him do His work. After the famine, the feast would come. Well, the famine ended about three weeks ago. Her marriage which was on the verge on dissolution, was turned around. Her husband is seeing what he's never seen before. My friend is so excited! I mentioned about how close we are to our evacuation, and she was just ecstatic about the possible timing. Her recovery has been long, and she is still struggling with speech and motricity. The Lord told her that He would heal her after the "famine". Here we are! Maybe, just maybe, the feast is the actual Supper of the Lamb!
