This is not a poll but just a fun exercise as we watch for the rapture. . Where would you like to be when the Rapture happens?
I would like to be at a family get together, with the whole family and extended family, at the dinner table. This way there would be no denying that we were there one minute and gone the next and it would cause those who were left behind to face the truth. ,Or, I would be outside which is where I feel closed to God. I would be in prayer or reading His Word, praising Him, etc.
Where do you think you will be when the Rapture takes place?
I think it will happen during the day and I will be resting on my couch.

I would *love* to see it coming. So I would likely love it to be a nice, sunny day, or a clear, starry night, warm temps, with me outside on my deck. Wouldn't it be something to see the clouds gather, hear the Trump of God resound, and then to see PEOPLE standing on the clouds?! JESUS! \O/ Yes, I would love to see it coming. Outside on my deck, enjoying the day/night.

Morningstar, congratulations on the most creative post I have seen in a long, long time. It's very funny.
I don't care what I will be doing when the rapture happens. I just hope I am awake.

Never-ending piles of dishes, Morningstar, I know what that feels like, believe it or not. That smiley looks awfully happy cleaning that toilet, though.
I think I would like to be spending time with the Lord. Either reading the Word, praying in my room or praying while standing outside looking the starry night sky with the moon really bright. This third one would probably be my pick if I had a say in it. I haven't done it "properly" in a few weeks, for a few reasons, but it's one of my favourite ways to spend time with Him. There's just something about the quietness and solitude under a starry night sky that enhances prayer time.

MS: Loved the graphics, which made me laugh.
Becka, MS and BJ: Being outside when the rapture happens would be awesome. I am very clumsy and can see myself falling down (more than once, trying to get outside).
Elizabeth: Exactly. When it comes down to it, we will not care where we are, just where we are going.

For some reason, I've always felt that I'd be asleep when it happened. ...given how much I love sleep, that would probably be somewhat appropriate, too. Really, I don't care when it happens... the sooner the better, and whatever I'm doing will feel utterly irrelevant when I hear that trumpet!

We have it on good authority, Benjamin, that we will not all sleep.

LOL, Morningstar! Those little emoticons are so cute! May I most kindly intertwine all of your responses as my response? They're all as lovely as lovely can be, I must say....
I don't really care and no, I don't think being in a cemetary sounds weird at all, MS. I'd probably freak out and die on the spot right there though, anyway...soooooo...I'd beat you guys but meet you all in the air anyway. I was actually thinking sleeping too, as Benjamin though. Won't it be so strange never to be tired and want to sleep aymore?

I loved the idea of the Rapture during a funeral, Morningstar! Can you picture the burial? Imagine standing at the graveside of a loved-one, when not only does the coffin burst open, but a lot of the graves burst open, and then we who remain are caught up! If I was an unbeliever and saw that I'd be terrified, and maybe, just maybe I'd believe.

Never thought about rapture while in a cemetery but that would be epic. You would still be will people you love and those not saved would have a hard time denying the truth.
