One day they will have to stand before God. Good luck to them.

Just the thought of it is disturbing... I saw an image once that questioned why bacteria on Mars is considered "life," and a heartbeat here isn't. It really makes you think of the state the world is in, doesn't it?

John, this is just profound:
Thanks for posting that.

That was a very profound statement you posted, John. I bet that was a most intersting article. Sadly, too many people overlook things such as that.

You're welcome, Elizabeth. I agree, it stuck in my memory until now.
It wasn't an article, Shiloh, I happened to come across it on Twitter. If I remember right it was a picture of a pregnancy ultrasound with those words on top of it. But it really makes you think.

My wife is a photographer, and has recently begun doing some pro-bono work for a company named "Heartfelt". Heartfelt are a free service offered to parents and families who have lost a baby. The photographers will meet with the families in hospital, and take photos of babies that were stillborn, or who simply weren't far along enough to live outside the womb, or simply those who have died. The photos can be taken either before or after death, but are designed to be something the families can remember their babies by.
Koorine's first shoot was a 24-week pregnancy. The mother had gone into labour early, and had delivered a baby boy. He lived for a couple of hours outside the womb, then died. His skin was transparent, his lungs not yet formed well enough to breathe. When she came home, the first words out of her mouth were "you know, you see something like that, and any idea that abortion is normal go out the window."
...there was this beautiful, wonderfully formed little baby boy, with perfect tiny fingers and toes; clearly a baby, clearly loved - and a family in grief. They weren't crying over 24 wasted weeks, or the hardship of labour, or the cost of the hospital bill. They were grieving for their son.

A beautiful Psalm! That was a touching account, Benjamin. I can't even think of how difficult it must be for someone to lose a child and, when it comes to abortion, for the Lord to see such evil against these little ones.

I had the same reaction as you Shiloh, I want to vomit. Dear Lord, how can this be? Evil is being celebrated while Christians are being killed. It is so backwards but just as the Bible said it would be. I know that is no help at with repulsive behavior such as this.
