Happened in the last half hour. With yesterday's 5.1 in California, I am keeping my eyes peeled.

And a 5.1 in Central Alaska as well, at around half past 1am (UTC time, I believe), according to a source I use mostly for Portugal but that also shows earthquakes above 4.0 from around the world. It hasn't updated that with that Yellowstone one yet, though, probably to it being very recent.

The earthquakes seem to be ramping up along the Pacific Coast. Spoke to two of my sisters who live near the epicenter of Fridays Quake, they had some damage (glass breakage e.t.c.) they really felt the jolt of it along with the aftershocks. Being born and raised in California, been through some bad one's so I know what it feels like because you don't know if the next one that hits will be stronger, you can only prepare so much and leave the rest in the Lords hands.

Morningstar, I've heard that the aftershocks can be just as bad as the initial earthquake. I don't know if I could handle that. I know they've been waching the Yellowstone area for a couple of years now and if that thing blows, goodbye America. They said it would darken the skies from the ash for a long time. Maybe I'll be waiting for you guys in the air before you get there.

May God forbid anyone here dying from such a disaster, earthquakes, tornados, volcano eruptions, and so forth.
Another earthquake, this time a 5.3 in Xizang (or Tibet, I believe). Looks like these couple of days we've had a few earthquakes. Morningstar, I've noticed that as well. A lot of the earthquakes in the past month and the months before have occurred along the Pacific coasts, not just in the US coast, but Central and South America too. All of them higher than 4.0. It's really odd.

Earthquakes are increasing rapidly, and your right BJ the Pacific Coast rim is where most of them are happening which covers the area's you just mentioned. The Yellowstone Volcano has been showing a lot of activity, but it's my belief that this Volcano won't go off on this side of the Tribulation, because if that happens now, it would be catastrophic and would cause millions of fatalities..I see it more of a Trumpet judgment during the Trib.

shiloh.........i'm with you on the "i don't know if i could handle the waiting for the after shocks" thinking. in fact, my wife and i were talking about that last night. it would drive me batty, wondering if objects were going to fly off the shelf and hit me in the face in the middle of the night. we can only pray that our Lord Jesus protects all those people in these areas. it just is another reason to get right with Jesus while we have the chance. who knows WHAT is going to happen, or when we are going to die. we know that Jesus is coming soon.........but, for many people.........their lives will be taken from them before He comes back. i just don't understand how people can get up day after day and reject the free gift of the Lord Jesus. how much Jesus loves us. it brings me to tears almost every day when i think of what He went through, just so I could have eternal life. all glory and honor to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

...of course, talk of aftershocks implies that this was the earthquake. Studies have shown that smaller tremors can PRECEDE a large earthquake, too - not just follow it. If that's the case, then the US is in big trouble - and soon.

I have also assumed that once earthquakes are a 4.0 that they are then followed by aftershocks that could be lower or equal to the 4.0. It makes sense that it could be a precursor to a bigger earthquakes.
I had notice that Yellowstone had a few earthquakes. I too think it could cause more destruction than I think would happen with the rapture. I did listen to a Mark Murchinson video and he had sensed Yellowstone in his spirit.
