Being that the Blood Moon Tetrad is almost upon us (April 15th)...thought I'd post this article by Jim fletcher. I'm taking the stance that Jan Markell, Terry James and Todd Strandberg, and that is to wait and see.
WND Jim Fletcher
The surging interest in the “blood moons” phenomena as a possible heavenly sign of the end times has been an unprecedented boon to a Christian group that focuses on Israel.
Jan Markell, founder of Olive Tree Ministries, told WND that the original research done by pastor Mark Biltz is spiking her ministry’s Web traffic after drawing a record radio audience.
“The most popular radio program of my 14 years on air was the program I did on the blood moons last year,” she said. “Christians want to understand this. We had hundreds of orders for CDs of that program. We have never seen such a profound interest in any other topic.”
She said the blood moon phenomena shouldn’t be ignored.
“The Bible tells us to look to the signs in the Heavens and particularly in a last days’ context,” she said. “They have been significant to Israel in the past. They could be significant to her in 2014 and 2015. I know many evangelicals are putting this phenomenon down and even writing books against the blood moons, but I am not as skeptical. If God tells us to watch the ‘signs of the times,’ why should we dismiss the blood moons as some are?
On the other hand, she said, some fear it’s another Y2K scare.

Now an article from a Secular Source:
Science Recorder: Total lunar eclipse: ‘Blood moons’ to begin April 15
A lunar eclipse will take place in mid April.
Avid skygazers will want to mark their calendars for the upcoming total lunar eclipse that will occur in the early morning hours of Tuesday, April 15, according to astronomers.
Amateur astronomers will have to stay up late or get up very early to see this first of four “blood moons” anticipated to occur over the next year and a half. The Earth will begin to block direct sunlight to the moon at 3:07 a.m. EST. The event will last around 77 minutes with a midpoint occurring at 3:36 a.m EST.
The term “blood moon” is a colorful description of the reddish-orange appearance of the moon during a total lunar eclipse. As the Earth begins to cast a shadow on the moon, the moon partially disappears from view. Soon the moon begins to appear brighter but with a red or orange hue because the Earth’s atmosphere bends toward the moon the sun’s red light moreso than its other colors within the visible spectrum. The result is stunning.
Four complete lunar eclipses in a row, each separated by six lunar months with no partial eclipses in between, are collectively called a “tetrad.” Lunar tetrads do not occur regularly but are predictable. The remaining three blood moons of this tetrad will occur on October 8, 2014; April 4, 2015; and September 28; 2015.We will observe eight in the twenty-first century compared with five in the twentieth and none in the subsequent two-hundred years. The most recent tetrad occurred in 2004-5, and the next one is not expected until 2032-33.
The lunar tetrad that begins on April 15 has been the subject of recent speculation with regard to biblical prophecy because all four eclipses will occur on important Jewish holidays: Passover and the feast of Tabernacles. Some believe that this tetrad is a sign for important future events in Israel. However, there are no available physical data that link lunar eclipses to world events.

It is true these are signs in the sky. it is also true that the blood moons have been significant for Israel. I think many of us are so ready to go home that it is easy to jump on the next likely date to go home. We all feel the nearness of the hour but someone, I do not think the days of the blood moons are necessarily an event for Christians. I would like to be wrong on this but time will tell.

Your right it isn't for Christians, it is for Israel, but by keeping our eye's on the events surrounding Israel prophetically would be an indication of where we the Church stand as to the closeness of the Tribulation hour, therefore the closeness to the Rapture of the Church..I personally don't believe we can relate the Blood Moon to the Rapture of the Church, for there are no specific signs for the Rapture for it's an imminent event, only for Israel..but I believe we will know when were getting close.
