With the latest flare-up in tensions between Russia and the West, something like this was bound to happen. We have internal conflict in Ukraine, stirred up in numerous cities, and an ineffectual US. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Russia tried to capitalize on US silence (and, in the case of Iranian nuclear progression, weakness) by reinforcing a valued ally.

This article, from Yahoo News, suggests that Russie may be considering providing S-300 missiles to Iran once again. Should that occur, any potential window for halting the Iranian Nuclear Program will be lost.

News seems to be exploding today between Assad trying to get Israel's border and now Russia upping their game with Iran. This is a calculated move to spit in O's face. He is more or less saying you cannot stop me. Perhaps O will issue more phone slaps.
