I love it so much too! I want to try to sing it in Hebrew. Josh's last name Aaron would indicate that he is of the priestly tribe, descended from Aaron.

Marylou wouldn't that be wonderful to sing it in Hebrew! I know what you mean about wanting to learn. I enjoy listening to this type of music; there's some beautiful songs out there that are sooo full of meaning yet not many know about it. I am certain you could go on youtube and type in search something like 'Christian songs in Hebrew or something along those lines. And yes Josh's name does indicate he's from that line. Pretty cool!
Glad you like it too Daisy!!

I was tickled to see that the YouTube has the Hebrew and the Hebrew pronunciation for us (almost all the way through the song). You can spot hallel for praise, etc., on a few words anyway. My voice is now pretty low and this is just right for me, used to sing soprano. Back in 1980s I learned the Hebrew alphabet, and about 350 words, and loved that so much is from root words. I quit, but I think someday we will get to learn Hebrew (Scripture, "turn them to a pure language" or similar words. Some of the songs by Lamb (Joel Chernoff and another man) in 1970s always inserted a page with all the words so you could sing them.

That's great you learned the alphabet and some words. Fascinating I am sure!
