Blood Moon A Message To America?
While most of the US is asleep Monday night, an astronomical phenomenon some mark as a sign of God’s judgment will blaze uniquely across the skies of North America. The first of four, consecutive, total lunar eclipses, which cause a roughly hour-long reddening of the moon known as a “Blood Moon,” will become visible beginning at 12:53 a.m. ET on Tuesday, April 15.
Tuesday’s blood moon is part of a “tetrad,” a set of complete and consecutive lunar eclipses that will continue in roughly six-month intervals until October 2015.
Some consider it nothing more than an alignment of the heavens, but others are watching much more closely, because of the alignment with biblical prophecy.
Some, such as Pastor Mark Biltz, author of “Blood Moons: Decoding the Imminent Heavenly Signs,” have noticed each of the tetrad’s blood moons fall on Jewish holidays through this year and next.
“We are on the verge of witnessing something historic,” said Biltz, who discovered the blood moons phenomenon in 2007. “This has happened only eight times over the last 2,000 years! And the last two times these occurred on the Jewish holidays there was a war in the Middle East regarding the nation of Israel. These are patterns and historical facts that cannot be disregarded. The Jewish Talmud records that total lunar eclipses are indicators or omens for the nation of Israel.”

Some of my non Christian relatives are interested in this, and I am amazed how much they know. Apparently they have heard it discussed on the radio (not Christian stations, I asked). They are not afraid of the world ending tonight, or anything, but they seem to have a belief that God is going to do something in the not too distant future.
These people have gone from not caring to know, to being interested, and I am thankful.

Well, I can't see the lunar eclipse tonight OR the blood moon tomorrow. Going to cloudy up here tonight and all of tomorrow and through tomorrow night due to rain tonight and snow tomorrow. What we do in biblical times if we didn't have modern communications (t.v., radio, electricity, etc) and didn't know it was happening?

Elizabeth: How exciting to have your Christian relatives start to wonder about what is coming. I hope this will lead into more questions for you. It is a beginning.

The Blood Moon was so clear here in AZ last night, we all went outside at Midnight to watch (my neck is kinked now). It was so spectacular and was very ominous looking. This is a first for me, I think the next one is on Oct. 6th in the fall...looking forward to seeing that one also...better yet I hope were out of here by then.

Rieom, my relatives that knew all about the blood moon, aren't even Christians. I've been praying for them, so I'm really rather hopeful.
